Hi; good to see you; God bless His Word to you; my wife and I attend an independent Bible based local church up here in Canada.

Write words ...we drive on the left and drink tea rather than coffee. We celebrate Christmas with crackers (it involves explosives) and have a night dedicated to celebrate someone who tried to blow up parliament.

It can be, although when we do get the good weather it is gorgeous, I just wish it would actually be for longer, LOL

It is summer here now. In this part of the USA the summers are really hot. I am more of a cold weather person, so summer can be hard. This part of the country really only has a couple weeks out of the year with truly moderate weather. The rest of the time it is usually either extreme hot or extreme cold....usually.

I agree, I think too much of one thing can be tedious.

I remember spending the summer months in Kansas where the temperatures were in the 90's and I could not go for walks during the day due to it being too hot. Then the winters were awful.

Thanks I do try....did I mention the festival where hundreds of people chase a large cheese down a steep hill...and the winner gets the cheese? Or the fact it's actually illegal to be drunk in a pub here?

Spot on about summer lotus petal, though I think two whole days is an exaggeration..I'm lucky if I get two minutes of sunshine.

Hello! Yes, I believe getting to know and understand other cultures is very helpful for a person. Through interacting a lot with other cultures, and by traveling to other countries, I have learned much about my own culture - and see many things in a different light. I am from Norway, by the way
