My Wife (a strong-willed woman, who has a huge impact on me. And has truly turned my life around)
My Children (my greatest gift of life, to love and protect. I can't live without them)
My Life (for the air to breathe, the Sun to see, the food to eat, and a gratefulness heart to everything)
Him (for giving me Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding. And making His Presence known to me)
Hope (for giving me Hope when I felt that my World is falling apart or ending)

Yes, we can be grateful just to have lived at all, even. After all, every last thing here in this world we will lose, though, in time, of course. All. Like Job. The book of Job is very helpful for us I think as we get older, because it helps us to prepare, potentially. We can do as Job did -- keep faith even as all worldly things pass away....

A 5 I cant.. to put them in some order. I can for number 1. We see so much evil in this world. The fact that anyone can miss it..fall fall way. I so to speak..fall on my face so humbled that at this moment.. I am calling Him lord.. repenting.. wanting Him in ever area of my life..to just think this.. its HIM..He put this desire this longing.. I could be lost doing my own thing. To just want Jesus.. to just believe that.. I could get so much more then 5 out of this alone

I think the challenge for us is to think "what can I be grateful for today?" Ask ourselves these kinds of questions instead of getting lost in our problems and thinking "how sad is my plight" or "if I can just get rid of that issue, I'll be happy".
yesterday I had an issue at work which started to preoccupy my mind after work. Thank God, He came to my rescue and helped me make a wise decision instead of a knee jerk reaction.

I like KFC too. but I try to minimise the damage by only ordering twisters.

sorry to hear about the blood pressure. Mine has been a little high too. Fortunately, I've managed to avoid medication so far. But I am on cholesterol lowering meds.
