The scriptures tell us to Bless God.
Psalms 68:26
Bless ye God in the congregations, even the Lord, from the fountain of Israel.
The scriptures also tell us how to bless God.
Psalms 66:8
O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard
We must let others hear us praise the name of God.
Psalms 96:2-3
Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.
By showing forth His salvation, and declaring His glory amongst others we bless God. We should let others know about the salvation we have received, and share with them what God is doing in our lives from day to day. May his light always shine through us.
Psalms 100:3-4
Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
God has made us what we are. He is the one who changed our lives. By remembering this, and giving him thanks, and praise for it we bless his name.
Psalms 134:1-2
Behold, bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord, which by night stand in the house of the Lord. Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.
By lifting up our hands to the Lord we bless him.
Psalms 115:17-18
The dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence. But we will bless the Lord from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the Lord.
2 Corinthians 1:3
Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort
Let us forever bless the Lord God Almighty by bringing forth praises, thanksgiving. By bestowing honor, and glory upon his name. And by sharing the salvation he has given to us with others.
