Does God "offer" salvation to everyone?
Last edited:
Paul would agree with you: "For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive." (1 Corinthians 15:22) If a mere human such as Adam could supposedly wreck all of mankind, surely Jesus can reconcile all of mankind.I know this is a far fetched idea. But what if Jesus' sacrifice was just as powerful as Adam's Action. Through Adam the whole world was condemned no questions asked. What if Through Jesus the whole world IS saved?

I'd say it's more than just an "offer". More like a rescue mission.
So I would say that God is well within His rights to get what Jesus paid so dearly for. Jesus paid in full, He should get what He paid for in full.
That's my take, anyway.

That's one way of looking at it, if one espouses partialism.Except that's not what that verse is saying. It's saying "all who are in Adam, die with Adam. All who are in Christ are made alive in Christ."
They represent different groups of people. Adam represents those born of the seed of a man and Christ represents those who are born from above.
Yes...the biblical way. That's one way of looking at it...
I'm sure this is a jab at me but I can't see how anything I said reflected partialism. Maybe you could elaborate....if one espouses partialism.
almost every Christian denomination agrees God's offer of salvation to all people, except for some hyper-calvinist groups
Scary, huh? That such a huge contingent of Christianity would be so utterly wrong about salvation...it blows the mind. And for the record, Calvinists don't see salvation as "an offer."
According to one's particular interpretation, yes.Yes...the biblical way.
Are you familiar with Christian partialism?I'm sure this is a jab at me but I can't see how anything I said reflected partialism. Maybe you could elaborate.
