Miracle Man was about Jimmy Swaggart, who used Christianity to fleece people—a false prophet. Like Metallica’s “Leper Messiah” and Anthrax’s “Make Me Laugh,” Ozzy’s “Miracle Man” is a rebuke of televangelist conmen.

“Suicide Solution” was a warning about how alcoholism is a slow death. Who better to issue such a warning than a man who was/is struggling to break free of such behavior?

A common theme in socially conscious metal of the 80s and 90s was the evils of substance abuse. Guns N’ Roses’ “Mr. Brownstone” was about heroin addiction. Anthrax’s “Efilnikufesin (N.F.L.)” was about how John Belushi threw away his life with drug abuse. The title track to Metallica’s “Master of Puppets” album was about how drugs control and destroy people’s lives.

Regarding Suicide Solution, read the preceding lyrics that you didn’t quote. It’s actually pretty deep stuff.

I see your point on Miracle man and Suicide Solution. But most do not ever understand the whole song and the lyrics as you do. Most only hear what they want to. "Suicide is the only way out". To a teen on the edge, this can be the hair trigger.

But War Pigs-If you notice, the verse is where the end has come and God has Called the hour. That means the end and its over. He points out the war pigs are crawling, the intended point of the song, but mentions Satan laughing and spreading his wings. The most evil Satan followers believe that in the end they will be home with their father Satan and enjoy evil forever with him in hell, and torment the hypocritical Christians with him, when the reality is he is furious because he lost in his bid to take over Heaven and be God and knows his time is not only short, but over. And when the moment has come, he won't be laughing, he knows his time of torment on mankind is over and he is to be thrown into Gehenna to be tormented forever and ever. He will be crying and wailing. A twist on the truth, from he himself.

To a teen on the edge, anything can be a trigger. Blaming a song that's a warning about alcoholism misses the mark, like blaming guns for crime. Dennis Miller had a great line years ago about parents who blame their children's behavior on music lyrics, but it's not fit for this site.

I don't think anyone's claimed that "War Pigs" is a Biblical account of the end of days. What it is, though, is the story about a bunch of people who created hell on earth for their own amusement, and then crawled and begged forgiveness when they were going to spend eternity in the real hell as a result. It would take an enormous stretch to make that song anything other than a total, complete rebuke of the evils of war and the people who create it.

Folks have been cherry-picking that line from "War Pigs" for decades. It's like when the "rock n' roll is the devil" folks freaked out when Dave Mustaine from Megadeth sang the lyrics, "Satan rears his ugly head, to spit in the wind." What they failed to do was read the rest of the lyrics from "Rust in Peace" and see the song was clearly a warning about nuclear obliteration, not devil worship.

I disagree. He is trying to reach out to other faiths to love them, but he has not denied Christ as God son. The Rcc puts too much emphasis on sacraments being solely administered through them, but other faiths wrongly assert their superority also.
What about the Presbyterians and Baptist being allowed to be masons, who have a "worshipful master" that stands behind an altar they knell to, with three "holy books" on it, while they swear oaths? God is referred to as "the great architect of the universe" and represents every "deity" there is, and they exclude Christ as King of all and Lord. Read the Shriner's ritual, where Mohammed is put forth as good , all the while running hospitals for handicapped children. And that has been going on long before Pope Francis. And at least so far, you cannot be a mason and be Catholic.

The Antichrist that will be exposed, is inside everyone. Mankind as a whole, is the Antichrist. The rebellious spirit that has been in mankind, since Adam disobeyed God in Eden, is the Antichrist. 666 is mans number. Only Jesus was pure, and his sacrifice forgives our transgression. And puts the spirit of God in us. In Thessalonians, when the antichrist is exposed, is when Gods people are chosen, marked, taken, and laying on the ground with their spirits flown away to be with God in the air. He sounds like someone who needs a lot of medical help, and probably shouldn't be having his clear psychological problems being broadcast to strangers on the internet.
