I feel my heart condemns me. How do I get it to say I'm ok. Because I know the Lord. I wish to be more like Him. My heart condemns me and even tho I pray I feel no relief. Is there something I need to do in order to get my heart to stop condemning me?

Mat 4:3-4 KJV
(3) And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
(4) But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

if you want to be like Jesus, then do as He did - live by the word of God. you have to root and ground your faith in God's words. not your prayers, not feelings, or someone's words about God, but God's written words that He interprets to you through your reborn spirit as you meditate and think carefully about what He's saying - His words do not change; they are faithful and true, and they are life. God's already fully motivated for your good - there's no need to plead with Him; feelings will fluctuate; people will argue about what God's words really mean - but you have to seek God through His words as you spend time with Him in order to find the Truth about how good He always is to us.

you believe you are reborn in Christ based on His word to you:

Joh 3:14-21 KJV
(14) And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
(15) That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

(16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

(17) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
(18) He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
(19) And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
(20) For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
(21) But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Jesus said that you not only have everlasting life (which includes this present life in the flesh btw), but also that you are not condemned - so when your heart condemns you, remind yourself of these unchanging words of God. write them on a card and put it in you pocket if you have to - as you meditate on God's promise that He is not condemning you, your heart will change, and your joy will rise up.

Correction can come in the form of guilty feelings. Natural disasters and Physical illness. When I decided to disobey God back in Ok I got disciplined by my truck getting stolen. Than I had to move where I had to see a new doctor neighbouring prescribe klonopin. All these things started happening and it was all because of the ill choices I made.

Today I just run to the cross because that's where Grace and mercy are. I still want to do everything God has called me too do. Thank You Father for lobbing me like you have.

2Ti 3:16-17 KJV
(16) All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
(17) That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

no - correction from God comes in only one form: scripture - His written word to you. God doesn't do evil at all - He doesn't do bad - all the bad things that happen in this physical world can be traced back to man's free will and the unrestricted dominion over this earth given to man by God:

Gen 1:26 KJV
(26) And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

God gave man authority over the earth and free will - all the bad things that happen are because man has and is using that authority for evil, of his own free will.

I can absolutely say with all certainty that God had nothing to do with your truck getting stolen - it's the devil that steals, kills and destroys:

Joh 10:10 KJV
(10) The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Jesus was God in the flesh (Emmanuel - Mat 1:23), and He came to give - He gives life.

when you decided to disobey God in OK, you also decided to obey the thief, and he came to steal from you, so you let him - God can't protect us if we don't agree with Him; and the root of disobedience is not agreeing with God - this is automatically agreeing with the thief - the devil - God has no part in the devil's work.

i think at the core of your struggle is a lack of knowledge of the authority that you have in your own life - part of the 'dominion over the whole earth' that God gave to each of us in a flesh body. this authority is what the devil wants; and he can only wield this authority through people that are yielded to him - and everyone except Jesus has yielded to the devil at some time. God had to come to the earth as Jesus, a man in a flesh body, to use this authority to defeat the devil and set man free from him - and now we who are reborn in Christ have the right to exercise that authority on God's behalf - if you yield that authority to the devil, he will inevitably use it against you. as a reborn believer, the war for your eternal soul has been won - but the battle for your carnal mind is raging - if you don't recognize this, the devil will steal, kill, adn destroy in your life in the flesh even though your eternal life is secure.

this will help:

How long have you been withdrawing from the benzo?

I'm going through one of, if not the most trying times of my life now, and though I won't go into detail, it's easy to see why God is allowing it, but at times, to me, enough seems like enough/goal reached, but it continues.

Also I find it very hard at times to just relax knowing it's his will and to
just trust him as I should, so I naturally think, maybe that's the whole idea of it? So I try to get better at it. With the knowledge I have, or think I have, that's all I can do....try.

 Praying for you (((hug)))

Hey Brother. When I got born again God gave me Revelation 3:20

I think it's neat how he gave you Revelation 3:7

Take care man. Just continue in repentance and things will work out!

EDIT: it's almost like Rev 3 is using the word "churches" for describing the different categories of believers in the world whom the LORD is returning to Him. Just a thought.

Does the Father or Jesus humble His child if they have been disobedient? I mean ever since Obama was in office I backslid bad. Today I had to move two states over. I was getting prescribed klonopin for the anxiety. Now I have no doctor that will even take in consideration that I suffer.

Which I'm ok with. I just keep asking the same question. Is the benzo withdrawal going to end? If I does will I be what God called me to be. I'm needing advice because when I lived in Oklahoma I was so lukewarm. God uses all things for good to those who love Him. So I'm trying in the midst of darkness rely on Gods sovereignty.

Revelations Ch3 Vs 7. To the church of Philadelphia. God gave me this while I was backslidden and I said surely God you don't see this in me. But, God has been soooo good to me. Always showing up at the right time and helpinke in my walk with him.

Whatever the Lord lays in your heart in response to what I'm writing I will listen because I'm ready to go back to my Father.
First let me say that I'm so very sorry you are suffering from anxiety. It can be very painful and interfere with your normal living.

Clonopin should really only be prescribed by a Psychiatrist, and only if they diagnose you with an anxiety disorder. It is possible that even if you are so diagnosed, they may feel you are better off with something like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which has just as high a success rate without the addictive properties of the medicine.

Have you seen a Psychiatrist?

Yes I was prescribed by a psychiatrist. But I have an addictive personality .
I don't know how much you have learned about the disease and medication you use, but I would recommend that you learn everything you can, especially about side effects. Then you can be aware of what you might feel or experience and then hopefully you can deal with it better.

God bless.
