I thought it was interesting that their canonization was controversial because they were children. After all childhood is a time if innocence and closeness to God. All children are saints.
I know it's true, but it helps remind me that I'm doing the right thing morally with something and not just the thing that's the right thing as in what I think I need to do for myself.
It's helping at least to give me a momentary sense of calm in a very difficult time. Of course, the beer probably helps, too.
