Their is but ONE intercessor between man and GOD, and that is CHRIST alone.
why seek to the dead, should not the Living SEEK GOD.
I have no idea what state we are in, other than rest when we die.
But if our beloved mary could hear people pray to her, she would cry for them
and say, NO pray to God only.
prayer is worship.
And as I said JOHN , got corrected twice. WORSHIP GOD
WORSHIP GOD.
but as I said............ye teach for precepts the doctrines of men
and make void the counsel of GOD by mans traditions. that was a general quoate
to remind all,

I seem to recall HOW fast the True APOSTELS , desired no occasion from man.
A concept long gone by many now.
Wait , I wonder where they got it from. OH YEAH it was CHRIST himself
who came not to BE SERVED but to serve.

Many forget this too. what was a good thing GOD told the church of EPHESUS
ye have tried them apostles and found them LIARS
so many blindly follow men and wont test their leader.
when even paul knew NO MAN was infallible and must be tested.

Peter taught that elders should be examples, not lords over the faith. Paul taught that no man should get any glory and that it belongs to God alone. John Taught us that we dont need a teacher because we have the anointing. The word they preached anoints us. Man is not to be glorified. Call no man teacher, no man father. Christ alone is the teacher and we are all brethren.

Personally, I feel if you have ever studied pagan religions Mary was needed to be a Goddess even though I've never heard of a Catholic referring to her as such. I could relate to her, but at the end of the day, she was still human and not a divine being. She was chosen by God, in my opinion, because of her genealogy.

It is not considered mandatory for Catholics to pray to Mary or any other saint. It is completely optional. Saints offer support through their prayers in the same way other Christians do when they pray for someone.

I truly wish W2L that the true doctrine and pattern of the early church had never been replaced.
any deacon or elder or bishop, would have truly edified the church .
not today, by grace and not to boast, even a wee lil man , like me, has far more
biblical knowledge that most every leader in those churches.
and believe me, I aint boasting, they had none to little.
It tears at my heart to see what has become of the church.
Its in shambles, and worse interfaith is on the way.
Brother, interfaith has got to be the mother of all false relligoins.
Any who preaches her, should be fled from asap. I mean asap as in don't even look back.
sadly their are men doing just that , teaching it
but..........since man is infalliable and its a sin to test apostels these days
well, the people remain in darkness.

that became of the jews , right , RIGHT before judgment came.

We "pray" to them on earth in the old sense of the verb ("I pray thee" - "I ask thee") - "ask". We ask them to ask God for us.

I have found that so very often men love doctrines of religion,
instead of the truth that would have set them free.
And now a word
The only condemnation that a man has is that light has come into the world
and men have loved darkness rather than light
because, Because, because their deeds are evil and they don't want to have to live right.
that is why we have so many religions, something JESUS said , did not agree
with what someone wanted. so lets change it a bit, and feel SAVED
and say amen.

No Mary here, just God. If the Rosary is for meditation then follow Paul's command.. Be careful for nothing, but in all things ask God in prayer.

will manifest unto him.
ever wonder why so many have NOT the Spirit.
IF a man hates me , HE keeps NOT my sayings.
and I might add, he changes them to suit his carnal desire.
YET , everyone I have met that has done this
has NOT the peace I have.........NONE.

Well, that's the actual teaching. Or a paraphrase of it. I didn't just make it up. I answered your question about whether we "pray" to people on Earth - yes, we do, in that sense, and the saints are prayed to in the same way. Latria (worship) is due to God alone. Now it's a spin job?

God is ALMIGHTY, he made Heaven and Earth and all things righteous. He has All Power and is the Sovereign of the Universe, he made All Things that are Righteous and Good. And the devil twists and perverts them for his own glory, There is one Almighty God, One Jesus The Christ, one Holy Spirit and one interpretation of his word, as it is written.

The Bible says that Jesus himself states that there is only one to be called Father, and That is the Heavenly Father. We all had or have had "Dads" but there is only one "Father." Our "Dear Heavenly Father."

There is only one person to be Glorified and Praised and Prayed to. The only being who has all power to answer any and every righteous prayer, and that is God Almighty.

It seems that there is some confusion and criticism of every Denomination, in this case the Catholic's giving the option and somewhat endorsing praying to Mary. But they also say fish isn't meat, but I'm just going to cite Matthew 23:9 and Luke 24:41 - 43.

Every Roman Catholic Christian and Eastern Orthodox Christian and Oriental Orthodox Christian and many others understand the difference between worship and veneration or worship and "asking". It's explained on plenty of sites and plenty of threads. "Hail" is just a greeting.

These arguments always seem to involve a moving target. Why are we hailing her, that's worship! No, it just means "hi," and it's scriptural. Well, why are we worshipping her? We're not. It sounds like worship to me! There's a difference between worship and veneration. Sounds like a spin job.

I dunno. You don't have to venerate Mary. I just don't see what the scam is imagined to be.

Jesus never prays to Jesus, but Christians do that all the time.

"Meat" in the KJV there is in the older English sense "food". As in "sweetmeats" - which aren't sugared flesh but just sweets.
