The Bible is clear. The Real bible anyway. It took God seven literal days to bring the earth back to a habitable place. Hence, there is an unknown number of years between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2. According to Isaiah 45:15 - For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain... That word vain means empty. When He created the earth, He created it perfect. Satans rebellion caused this Chaos. He was once the ruler of the Pre-Adam- Earth, the earth we now live, it had to be renovated by the moving of Gods Spirit before it could again be inhabited with life.

I had to make the point that the first chapter of Genesis is much longer than seven 24 hour periods... or seven days. The bible agrees with science in that the earth is millions of years in age. This point had to made to make my point about Adam and Eve.

Granted that all things have been the same since the recreation beginning at Genesis 1:3, by that I mean that trees have always been green, water has always been blue(clear) the sky has always been blue, and the sun has always been yellow, as far as the human eyes can see.

Therefore, after God created the Spirit Man (male and female), God formed his physical body. Science agrees with this as well. Every single part of our bodies can be found in the minerals of the earth, hence we have a earth body, but a Heavenly soul and spirit. Therefore, the literal dirt that was used to form Adams physical body, what color was it?

Go outside, and tell me what color the dirt of the ground is. Has it always been brown. Is there white dirt in a forest? No. The proof is in the pudding, rather, in the Word of God.

God formed Adam from the dust of the ground. As far as I know, and as far back as people can remember, the dust of the ground has always been brown.

Let God be true, and every man a lie.
Amen.

Ground is brown.
Dust is....well...a fine substance. :)

From the DUST OF.....the ground...

For genetic reasons, Adam and Eve were unlikely to be “white” or “black” but something in between. The Hebrew word for Adam suggests redness, because an almost identical Hebrew word means “red” or “to show blood.” Adam and Eve's skin colour may have been similar to that of Native Americans. Perhaps also their eyes were rainbow coloured to account for the many couloured eyes we see today.

Of course this is just a very limited educated guess.

Christians that believe Adam and Eve were chimps (or similar) would probably have to guess on the fur colour lol.

Your theory is absolutely ridiculous IMO.

According to your way of thinking every portion of Adam's body would be black - not just his skin.

His white blood cells would be black and the whites of his eyes would be black.

In fact - if modern black and brown men are any guage of what you are proposing - thei teeth and the palms of their hands and feet would be brown or black.

Silly concept.

Next you'll perhaps be spouting black Muslim doctrine and saying that the white race was created sometime after the Genesis account by a mad black scientist. :)

Besides that - all dust of the earth is not brown.

Frankly though - I don't know personally of any white man who would be truobled by the idea that the first man was black, brown or red.

It's simply a non issue for those who's thoughts are not influenced in some way by racism.

Biblical "proofs" aside, it makes perfect sense that Adam and Eve, and Noah and his family for that matter, were somewhere very close to the middle of all the variation in human appearance we see today.

Genetic diversity must have been originally very great indeed to allow for the eventual development of all the wonderful differences in features we see in today's human population.

There is neither Jew nor Gentile in the kingdom. To worry about race and skin color is pointless and carnal at best.

You do realize that skin colour has nothing to do with what colour the soil is ... skin colour is related to the secretion of melanin.

LOL. You know what's funny. I do not go to church. I am the Church. What I know I know through the revelation of the Holy Spirit, and it does not in any way deny the truth of the Scripture. No man has taught me this, neither did I consult with any about it. I know it is true because I know God. I know my Father who is in Heaven, and He is not divided on any issue.

This white Jesus picture everywhere, PAH. foolishness. The original Hebrew nation were people of color. As well, they were a mixed breed of people.

This is not dividing the church, it's revealing the truth. You are just uncomfortable with the truth, as many are. Especially when it hits their pride. The Color of His skin is of no matter Because His Blood was red. Thats the important part. White, green blue or purple, His Blood was Red, and Only His blood washes away sins.

However....

Science even tells us that the color of skin is a matter of location, how be it, this takes years to develop, it is none the less true to the word of God.

Gods Original creation were people of Color, and so too was Jesus. Paul the Apostle was of Color. There are so many in scripture who were of color, not just Ethiopians...White people do not like to hear this because of their superiority complex...it is real.

Oh, and by the way....His Hair in Revelation really was white...and the White had a meaning...His eyes did really look like fire...but it has a meaning...His feet were literally that color of Bronze, but it also carried a significant meaning..

Let God be true, and Every man a LIE

Glor to God.

Adam (Hebrew: אָדָם) as a proper name, predates its generic use in Semitic languages. Its earliest known use as a genuine name in historicity is Adamu, as recorded in the Assyrian King List.[2] Its use as a common word in the Hebrew language is ׳āḏām, meaning "human". Coupled with the definite article, it becomes "the human".[3]

Its root is not attributed to the Semitic root for "man" -(n)-sh. Rather, ׳āḏām is linked to its triliteral root אָדָם‎ (a-d-m), meaning "red", "fair", "handsome".[4] As a masculine noun, 'adam[5] means "man", "mankind" usually in a collective context as in humankind.[4][6] The noun 'adam is also the masculine form of the word adamah which means "ground" or "earth". It is related to the words: adom (red), admoni (ruddy), and dam (blood).[7]According to a number of observers, the word Adam derives from Sanskrit word Adima, meaning "progenitor", "first", "primitive" in Sanskrit.[8][9][10][11]

In the Book of Genesis, the Hebrew word ׳āḏām is often rendered "mankind" in the most generic sense, which is similar to its usage in other Canaanite languages.[12][13] The use of "mankind" in Genesis, gives the reflection that Adam was the ancestor of all men.

Kabbalistic works indicate that Adam also comes from the Hebrew word 'Adame', 'I should be similar', similar to God in having free will.[14]

I agree with the age of the earth and universe (Gap theory), but, we don't know what color Adam and Eve were. Things that spring "out of the earth" are all different colors. If you follow that 'scientifically' Adam and Eve would be white, as a combination of all colors (in the light spectrum) yields.....white.
I agree, no one knows and color is of what importance?

Praise GOD glory to Jesus. God is not in the image of man. I read not to long ago they found older human remains in around China that date way farther back then those in Africa. Oh my what does that mean? Nothing..

Now I read Xavier ask about "what color is the dirt out side"...what part of the EARTH are we talking about? Ever been to ISRAEL? Iraq? Iran? So forth so on? Its not dark brown over there hehe. Other places it can be almost black..other places it can be almost white...

If one wanted to take this the WRONG WAY..get that? WRONG WAY.. 1st truth is Adam and Eve cased the fall of ALL man. And do you really want to BLAME that on some color of skin? Blood of JESUS NO!

You miss truth here. The way the EARTH is NOW is not how it as then. SIN is in the world. Truth is ..you and I have no clue what it looked like before the fall. IT was PERFECT. It is not now. Dirt would not look like it does now.. its dead. God does not make death.. He only makes LIFE..EVERYTHING was alive.

Jesus said.. if you stop them from shouting then even the rocks would cry out. Do a search on the EARTH some time in His word.. dead is it? He told Israel..if you do the same kind of sins.. the EARTH will also spit you out.. not Him.. the Earth would.. on and on.

And to make this about MAN? Man will NEVER glory in HIS sight. So when I know I am wrong is when I start to speak about ME ME ME ME I I I I and then add Him to it..

Its about HIM..CHRIST and to save the world. Not about some flesh and color...ask Him

It doesn't matter what color Adam and Eve were, I hope God is black even though I'm white, I think I would enjoy seeing all those hate groups see that.
We're all related anyway.
Acts chapter 17
26 From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. 27 God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. 28 ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’[b] As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’[c]
