Michie , since you are a reporter I need you to get this message out fast.
people don't think laws can get so evil.
But let me tell you of a law .
and get this message out to as many as you can fast.
imagine a law so evil
that under it you have no rights
it don't matter if you are male or female
it don't matter what color you are.
You can be killed for no reason. none.
you have no rights .
if they see you as in the way or whatever ,
they can just have you killed.
You don't have to do any good or evil
they can just sentence you to death.
is that not evil.......
TELL that to millions of dead babies..................who died for no other reason
than they were in the way .......
Hurry spread that message.................abortion kills

What pro-life Democrats have to say after being majorly shunned
He is alienating over 20% of his voting base including two pro-life Democrats in the Congress. This whole thing is very strange, it's this kind of extremism that is eroding the party. One day he supports a candidate that is clearly a centrist on the issue enjoying broad support from both the pro-life and pro-choice constituents:

Last week, former Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and DNC chair Tom Perez publicly supported the Democratic candidate for mayor of Omaha, Neb., Heath Mello...

Mello was previously endorsed by the group Nebraska Right to Life in 2012, but he had also received a 100 percent rating from Planned Parenthood Voters of Nebraska in 2015, his campaign manager pointed out to the Huffington Post.

A Catholic, Mello said in a statement to the Huffington Post that “while my faith guides my personal views, as Mayor I would never do anything to restrict access to reproductive health care.” (What pro-life Democrats have to say after being majorly shunned, Catholic News Agency)

This guy is as bad as Donald Trump, does one thing, says another. What happened to the time when our politicians could be counted on for elegant oration and purposeful, balanced ambiguity. We have entered an age of Twitter sound byte hyperbole, a mile wide and an inch deep.

The hope of this country, not that I think it has much of a chance, is for moderates and centrists to organize an independent third party. Cut off these radical extremists like the Tea Party/Freedom coalition and the far left liberal elitists. They don't represent anything more then two pro-status quo minorities anyway. I won't hold my breath waiting for that to happen any time soon.

A poll released yesterday by the polling company, inc./WomanTrend reveals that just under two-thirds of Americans support legislation prohibiting abortions after the 20th week of pregnancy, including almost 80 percent of Millennials. (New Poll: Vast Majority of Millennials Favor Limiting Abortion to 20 Weeks, The Corner)
The DNC risks losing an already eroded voting base, including alienating the 80% of Millennials who support abortion restrictions.

I'm a pro life Democrat, and was happy to see Sanders support Mello.
Although I'm not happy with these comments, I'm not leaving a party I side with on just about every issue but abortion to join a party I have only limited agreement with on this one issue.

I would have thought that the treatment of Bart Stupak during and after the passing of Obamacare would have made it clear enough what the bulk of the Democrat party thought about pro-life voices. They treated a health care reform as the single most important issue that the country could possibly face; but if it included an amendment to prevent the government from killing babies, it was better to not have it. Even now they are willing to shut down the government rather than letting the ghoulish Planned Parenthood organization to have its funding cut off (though unfortunately the Republicans are too craven to call them on it).

They've been as clear as they possibly could be without explicitly saying it that if you aren't okay with killing babies, that you're a traitor to the cause. The only thing that has happened now is that they've actually said it.

It irks me that being a pro-life democrat has little political viability but I do have to wonder if a pro-choice republican would fare much better in the current climate. Just looking at the health care vote tells me that too many people abandon their principles and doubts to form a mindless cue behind party lines.

Which is good news for democrats, granted, but not one I'd like to see over the wellbeing of so many.
