Hi again Nikolai,
I just read Isaiah 65 and 66 again, and i feel that if we understand these chapters then we will get a good idea of the context.
The reference appears right at the end and as i read it I am tempted to see this "destiny" as contratsed with entering into the kingdom.
And due to my own "preterist" glasses see it referring to the end of the old covenant the old heavens and earth, the destruction of jerusalem and the birth of the new era, new testament, the new heavens and the new earth. The contrast between life and death even.
So I see it perhaps speaking of the finality of this change as well.
I think I should re-examine the context of where our Lord uses it as well.
