Church of England parish directory by churchmanship

There used to be a wonderful little book called 'The Church Traveller's Directory' which gave some of this stuff, but it is long defunct. Membership organisations like Forward in Faith offer directories of their affiliated parishes, but this would offer a very limited range of information. Probably your best bet is the website 'A Church Near You', but even this is limited to those parishes that have bothered to contribute information, and you'd need to click through to parish websites to find the kind of detail you are hoping for.

I think the best you are going to get is "A Church Near You".

Most people are only interested in churches within a small geographical area, so it's not usually a big deal to go to ACNY and click on each church.

A Church Near You may help, but there is no handy little directory letting you know the political leanings of the congregation or the relevant clergy. That you may need to find via the church website (if available), or visiting the church itself.
