God called the generations from the beginning.

Isaiah 41:4
Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am he.

God declared the end from the beginning. The very things he spoke into existence in the beginning have a prophetic side to them.

Isaiah 46:9-10
Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

For each thing God declared, and created in the beginning there is spiritual, invisible side.

Romans 1:20
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

What did God declare and speak from the beginning? We only need to look in the beginning of our Bibles to find out. The book of Genesis.

Genesis 1:3-5
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.  And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.  And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

God declared the light in the beginning. He called the light Day. The darkness he called Night. In the end He will separate those who walk in the light, from those who walk in the darkness.

To walk in the Day is to walk in the light, in the Spirit of Christ. The light that has existed from the very beginning.

John 11:9
Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.

Jesus is the light of world. Without Him we walk in darkness. Only through Jesus are we able to receive the light of life, a life that is eternal.

John 8:12
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Before moving on let's refresh our minds with this scripture.

Isaiah 41:4
Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am he.

We looked at the light from the beginning. Now let's look at the sun, and see how it relates to God declaring, and calling the generations from the beginning. While keeping the following scripture in mind.

2 Peter 3:8
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Day 4
The fourth day the sun was set in the heavens to rule over the day. A prophetic sign of what was to come. You could say the light of day was given a physical body in a sense.

Year 4 thousand
It was somewhere within four thousand years from the beginning that Jesus was born in the flesh (given a physical body)

Genesis 1:16-19
And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

Just as the sun rises in the sky, Jesus arose from the dead and ascended to heaven. He is the sun of Righteousness

Malachi 4:2
But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

What makes this all the more interesting is when we think about how the world spent three thousand years from the time of Adam, to the time when Jesus came as a light of life unto the world, and paid the penalty for our sins. And how God waited until after the third day to set the sun in the heavens.

1 Corinthians 15:20-22
But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

Jesus also spent three days and nights in the heart of the earth. Before he rose from the dead.

Matthew 12:40
For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Mark 8:31
And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

So just as the sun was set into the heavens on the fourth day, Jesus arose from the dead four days after His crucifixion.
He then ascended to heaven to sit at the right hand of God.

Mark 16:19
So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

The old testament is full of events that serve as prophetic signs about the coming of Jesus. And not just of his birth but also of the things that he would do while on this earth, and the things He continues to do today. And of those things that are still yet to come.

God truly did Declare all things from the very beginning! May we forever give Him all the Praise, Glory, and Honor He so rightly deserves.

When some "think" they are saved but are not it is sad. When others profess to be saved "knowing" they are not, it is sad.

But when, as you have pointed out, God declared all things from the very beginning, and many choose to willfully reject this, it is beyond sad.

It is time, that all true Christians got busy and declared the Word of God!

Amen Gerry! We are instructed to do just that, Declare the Word of God.

Jeremiah 31:10
Hear the word of the Lord, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.

We are His witnesses.

Isaiah 43:9
Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth.

Isaiah 43:10
Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
