What Are Your Favourite Anime Shows Of All Time & Why?

I'll go first, I really like that one anime a lot it's called Ouran High School Host Club. It's my favourite anime, I just like how it was able to make me feel good and think about things like falling in love, friendship and other things. Ouran has some very awesome characters too, I really like the twins Hikaru and Kaoru the most, both characters are something I can relate to. I liked the anime so much, I bought the anime on DVD and I honestly wanted to have it on Blu-Ray but maybe next time.

Another anime I watched recently and I loved that one it's called Kiss Him Not Me. I enjoyed it so much, I even have a character from the anime as my avatar. lol I got to say the anime made me laugh and it was a blast to watch it on the Funimation website.

Anyway do you have any anime shows that are your favourite ones of all time? Please explain a little why you like what you like.

My top 3:
One Piece
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
Your Lie in April

One Piece is first because it's such a great adventure story. I've never watched (or read) anything else that can make me laugh and cry quite like One Piece can. I love the characters, I love the setting, and I love how insanely long it is.

FMA Brotherhood is just one of the best shows I've ever watched. I enjoyed the original FMA anime but Brotherhood took it to the next level.

I'll never forget the way I felt the first time I watched Your Lie In April. Stunning music, really emotional story, and gahhh it's just so good ^_^

Favorite anime's: "Higurshi When They Cry", because it has a great, thrilling plot and I love the messages learned.
Also, "Space Brothers", because I love how the plot and characters have real depth, and the characters are lovable ~! The lessons learned are also really admirable!

One I did not see mentioned here is the Fate/series. Such a fantastic anime all around in character design, story, and action.

Recently I watched Ajin : Demi-human on Netflix and it is also great. The characters are interesting and believable, the story is dark and intelligent, and the visuals are uniquely satisfying.

I think Full Metal Alchemist and Attack on Titan are my favorite of all time, for obvious reasons. I cannot choose between them...

I am a pretty big Naruto fan. I found the main story surrounding his life to be really well written. I found it to be a really emotional series, from laughing to crying. I also have enjoyed watching Avatar and Sword Art Online.

Probably Clannad and Clannad After Story. One of the reasons is that it was one of the very first anime that i ever watched and which introduced me to anime outside of typical battle anime like bleach and naruto. It also had a very heavy emotional impact on me as i heavily related to the main character in a lot of ways.

I really like anything by Hayao Miyazaki. Howls Moving Castle is my favorite anime by him. It is about a young girl who goes on a journey and finds true love. Its a very beautiful story.

The Royal Tutor
I love how the characters develop and I love the main character's personality. It's about a tutor who is chosen to tutor these 4 princes and help them to become candidates to take the throne.

Chihayafuru
I love the characters and how they all work so hard at what they do. It's inspiring and motivating to watch these characters develop.

Barakamon
I love the young character that the main character befriends. It has such an innocence overall when he moves to a different country. There's a feeling of starting over and learning 'to be still' in a different place and to find the beauty around you.

Haikyu
I like anime that has characters that work hard to achieve their goals and strive to get better and better.

Yowamushi Pedal
This anime made me appreciate and love bicycling.

Free!
Overall, this anime was entertaining and funny.

Kuroko no basuke
Motivational and I love watching basketball games and how they turn out.

ReLife
This one's about neets being given a second chance to start over again and to develop and to learn how to grow in life and to move forward.

I'm pretty picky with what I watch. Even some of the above has some parts of which I don't agree with or like, but overall..the above are what I have enjoyed watching thus far. Out of all the genres, it seems like 'Sports' is my favorite. I also really like 'slice of life' anime.

At least up until episode 26. After that I just go back.

I love the mind games aspect and wondering just how far Light has planned and if he's going to be found out as Kira or not.

Death Note was superb. It was an incredibly cerebral anime - the first of its kind to which I was exposed. I was supposed to watch it with a group over time, but after episode 3, I had to binge it. In hindsight, that is a show I would actually appreciate waiting for an episode weekly; the suspense and wait is paid off almost every new episode.

I also like Naruto, DB, DBZ, and DBS. As far as the DB universe is concerned, GT never existed, or its entire timeline was destroyed in one of the 6 universes Zen destroyed. It is the typical brawn/Shonen anime, so I like it for the fights.

I wanted to catch Ghost In A Shell on Adult Swim.

I love anime, it's so emotionally expressive and from the shows I've seen the villains are complex and relatable. Iv'e watched a ton, so there is many that I really enjoyed.

I really love Toradora. It's about a guy and a girl who both have best friends and each want to be with the other's best friend and they try to help each other. (comedy romance)

Kaichou Wa Maid-Sama! It's about this tough girl in a mostly guy school, who meets this guy that drives her crazy frustrated. (comedy romance)

Kamisama Kiss. Is a about a girl who is homeless due to her dead beat dad, and this guy gives her his home, which is a shrine. (comedy romance and spiritual)

There is so many others, but it would take too long to write them all down! Lol

Jojo's Bizarre adventure is pretty high up on my list in terms of an action/fighting series. Hunter X Hunter is probably my favourite shounen in that it handles itself so differently from others of it's kind.
