I think Christianity already short circuited end times by taking power way back when. WW3 is kinda a moot point spiritually. Although I am open to Jesus still working stuff out for sure.

I agree, I believe the rapture to arise any year now and I am sure that then a Third World War is extremely unlikely. In fact, biblically it would make no sense as it leaves no leeway for the anti-Christ to place a foot in.I think Christianity already short circuited end times by taking power way back when. The person in my signature suggested that there wasn't going to be an election and the end was about to happen. Any day now, any week now, any month now, any year now....yet here we are. I'll never understand the fantasy for the end of the world.

Hi & good morning
The problem is, biblically speaking, there is nothing wrong with the rapture happening tomorrow or heck, even today. As a whole, it does not matter because whether it happens from 10 minutes when I type this or a year, it would be wise that all who follow Christ should stay vigilant.Who is more likely to suffer? The man who underestimates the timing of the rapture and therefore does not ascend because of his unpreparedness or the person who prepared earlier and perhaps overestimated the time of the rapture? I prefer the latter.
I see it wise to prepare now, and to repent daily, I see it not wise to pin-point a specific date.

What's not to understand? Dying is scary, and nothing is more comforting than the thought that you are so important to the creator of the universe that he will scoop you up and then destroy the world.

Well, there's still the thousand years ...
And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

Not necessarily a WW3 as a total nuclear apocalypses. But a big big war, sure. Very close. USA will shoot down an airplane somewhere above central Siberia, coming from the east. And that will be the final straw. Or a trigger. It's all already planned, not going to be spontaneous thing. All is already well planned.
