Christian liberals weaken my faith.

And I don't know what forum to discuss that issue in. I don't want to debate that fact or get attacked for that fact. It's just something that has happened since I joined this site.

I cannot wrap my mind around how a person who subscribes to the teachings of the Bible and Jesus can support a political party which openly seeks to destroy the morals and values espoused by traditional Christian viewpoints.

Witnessing someone who claims to love Jesus rant against conservative Christian values makes me question how they can be reading the same Bible or worshipping the same God as me. If Christianity does not change the hearts of so many people on here to embrace conservatism, then is it real? How can someone read Galatians 5:19-24 and interpret it as meaning that everything that Hollywood and the democratic party stands for is acceptable in the eyes of God??? "Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God."

Just by being honest and saying that statement, I break all sorts of rules in most forums for flaming, questioning other's faith, and saying mean things.

I'm just frustrated and disheartened.

I feel the same.

I hope to find like minded conservatives in a church. I fear I won't.

I grew up in a Baptist church, then moved around the country and attended mostly non-denominational Bible-based churches.

My current church is called Evangelical Free Church of the Palouse. I really like it as the congregation is very diverse racially and age-wise. The pastor and assistant pastor are both humble and smart men who preach Biblical truth in love. It's a fairly large church for this area with around 600 members and I never saw a Hillary or Bernie sticker on a car in the parking lot last year.

Same with the last church I attended in Arizona; Harvest Bible Chapel.

In fact, I don't think I have ever encountered a liberal or liberal preaching n any church I've been in, except one. That was a black church I visited due to an invite from a friend. That was odd. Very nice folks but the preaching was shallow and wrong; was a mix of prosperity gospel and Dr. MLK quotes.

That's why coming on here is so disheartening; so much disagreement and strife between conservatives and liberals. I never even imagined that someone could read the Bible and interpret a far leftist message from it. Growing up, conservatives went to church and were, well, conservative. Liberals went to meetings about creating a wetland designation and creating new rules for those living near the wetland.

I work 12hr shifts in corporate security. Part of my job is to monitor the internet for events nationally and around the world that may potentially affect my company or it's employees. I'm on a few online forums. Most are firearms related. One I've been on for 17 years.

It was 99% conservative when I first joined with maybe 80% Christian posters. It's still 99% conservative, but with maybe 10% Christian Conservatives.

It is now populated with those that call themselves "fiscal conservatives". They are for smaller government, lower taxes, more gun rights, but are for gay marriage, abortion, and separation of church and state.

They spew such hatred against Christians that it is disturbing. To see a forum that was once a place online that traditional Christian conservatives could gather and discuss firearms and politics without fear of insult turn into a place where saying you are against gay marriage gets you called the most awful things is very depressing.

That's why I started searching for a place online where my Christian conservatives values were shared and I wouldn't have to constantly argue for their merit. Then I discover here that leftist ideals are rampant among Christians; especially those in Europe and Australia.

My search continues for a place of fellowship and encouragement rather than attacks on my faith and upbringing...

Yes, but that doesn't mean we should not fellowship. We will never get the majority of people to see, only those who can.

So, the Democrats have managed to make Nunes temporarily recluse himself from the Russa witch hunt by filling false ethic violation charges against him. However...
