I want you to be mindful of a key thing about God. His LOVE.....IS....CONDITIONAL.
The true worshipers worship Him in SPIRIT...which is what that piece of literature is full of....AND TRUTH...which is what the Bible says..

The condition to be SAVED...is to BELIEVE.
The condition to STAY SAVED..is to ABIDE in Him.

If God's LOVE was Unconditional then explain Adam and Eve being kicked out of the Garden?

If you don't believe that JESUS is THE CHRIST..the Son of GOD..the MESSIAH...you WILL NOT BE SAVED.
That is a condition.

John 14:15 - “If you love me, you will keep my commandments."

Even GOD requires a condition....to LOVE HIM means...KEEP his commandments..aka..OBEY HIM.

Unconditional LOVE means...NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO...I will LOVE YOU. THAT is NOT...GOD's LOVE. The scripture does say..John 3:16...for God SO LOVED THE WORLD that HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON...yes..indeed..but keep reading..cause the CONDITION is coming..

THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM..should not perish but have everlasting life.

God's LOVE...has ALWAYS BEEN CONDITIONAL. The unconditional LOVE is a potent false teaching.

How much can you get away with it and still get in?...even that very question requires a CONDITION..

God already told you in HIS WORD..what the Conditions are. :) Live or Die...your choice.
No, my friend. God's love is unconditional. He kicked Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden as a work of love. If they had eaten of the Tree of Life and lived forever in their mortal bodies- what a horror! To live forever in this sinful world and never die and go to Heaven. This would be a pitiless thing for God to allow.

God's love has no strings attached. The whole book of Hosea demonstrates that. Hosea is commanded to marry a prostitute to illustrate God's love for Israel. Hosea's wife kept forsaking him to go after other men, and poor old Hosea kept taking her back. She'd stray, and he'd go find her and bring her home.

God said that He was like Hosea and Israel was like Hosea's wife- always whoring after other gods. Yet, God has not cast aside Israel. He's not through with the nation yet. They haven't accepted Christ as Messiah- yet God is not finished.

Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were YET sinners, Christ died for us."

How many times must Christ say that in no way will he cast out the ones who have come to Him? When you say God's love is conditional you cast aspersions on His love.

I Corinthians 13:4 "Charity suffereth long, and is kind"
v. 7 "Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things"
v. 8 "Charity NEVER faileth"

If God wants people to love like I Corinthians 13, do you really think He would be different and have a failing love?

Romans 8- the believer secure
38-39 "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

God is not a man, that His love should fail. God loves the whole, entire world. Even the people who hate Him and mock Him. He is our Father. How many good fathers stop loving their sons when their sons do wrong? None. How much far superior is God the Father to human fathers!

Because His love can not save us. If we are to be saved, it must be through His grace. I think we have no conception of how much HE suffers when people go to Hell, these people He loves and longs for, He is not willing that any should perish, it is not His will.

Why do you think God's suffering is funny? I think it is awful. To think that this God who IS love and LONGS to have us respond to Him, has His creatures spurn His love is horrific.

Your response is what brought about the emoji. Blind to what conditional means. No worries.

Because His love can not save us.

HIS LOVE can not save us?...yet HE SO LOVED THE WORLD...that HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON....yes...I found that funny. Why would you even say such a thing?..makes no sense and it was so left field. The condition was...we were SINNERS...the condition was...WE WERE AWAY FROM HIM...thus HIS LOVE PUT HIMSELF on the CROSS.

CONDITIONAL.

Yes, He so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. If that was enough to be saved, then His love could save all mankind. But the saved are the ones who accept the sacrifice of Christ, who paid for our sins. Not all will accept that love.

I am a teacher. I love my students. I make up gift bags for every student, the straight A student, the failing student, the model student, the incorrigible student. Every student has a gift I make up and put in a gift bag on a table. A sacrifice, because I must spend my own money buying the things and my own time making the bags. But each one has a bag on the table, because I love them. Before they leave the room, I say "Students, I love you all- each and every one. As you go out the door, please take one of these gift bags."

Some of them believe me, so they take a bag and go home- receiving a gift. It could be a bad student, a naughty student, a good student, a well behaved student, a student that loves me, a student that hates me. BUT they must BELIEVE and have faith that I have them a gift in order to take the bag.

Some students do not believe me. They don't think I love them because I have been strict in the past, and they don't think I care enough to give them a gift. Some students don't take it because they think they don't NEED anything from me, they can very well do without. Some of these are good students, some are bad, some are naughty, some are well behaved.

My love is the same, whether they accept the gift or not. Only, I am very sad because the ones who left the bag would not accept my UNCONDITIONAL love.

We are beings that were created with a need for unconditional all accepting love. The problem is that none of us can give this kind of love that we so desperately need because all of our love is conditional in some way. The only one who could give this love we need is the Messiah.

When we forgive, someone pays the debt. And forgiving requires suffering. If someone breaks a lamp in someone's home, the owner of that lamp can say: I forgive you, I will replace the lamp. If he does, he suffers the debt, he goes without light in that part of the home. Or he can force the other man to pay the debt, somebody will always pay the debt. If we refuse to forgive, we are forcing the other to suffer for his action, we can sometimes even take pleasure in seeing the other pay the debt but if we do this, we are not really forgiving.

This is exactly what the Messiah did for you and for me, He paid our debt. And if we read the accounts of Messiah's death it tells us that He was silent. What we don't have in this example is Jesus manning up and being a tough willed person, what Messiah showed to us is that He completely forgives us and gave us His all accepting, unconditional love in order so that we could become the beings he created us to become. Our problem is that we are so prideful that we are not willing to give up anything for others. The most valuable gift I ever received was not a sinless holy life (the more I try not to sin the more sin I do) but it is the desire to forgive others that don't want forgiveness. And that is all of us. Jesus prayed "Father forgive them for they know not what they do". We need to take that example of God's unconditional love for us and begin to learn how to give that love to others - Father forgive others for they know not what they do. What are you and I willing to place upon the altar? We need to yield ourselves upon the altar by being humble and forgiving others as Christ forgave us. If we do this, we can experience true joy and true peace and we can learn to give each other that kind of unconditional love even if its in just a small way. And as we grow we will learn to become servants of the Most High God.

We have been freely forgiven by God.

For most who go there, hell is a place where their souls die. It's second death. Your mother can love you unconditionaly, at least in Earthly sense, but she can't live for you.

Then quit sinning. And grinning.
Congratulations! Glad you agree. Yes you and I and every other Christian needs to quit practicing sin. "WHOEVER makes a PRACTICE OF SINNING is OF THE DEVIL, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil" (1 Jn 3:8).

No, my friend. God's love is unconditional. He kicked Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden as a work of love.

The problem is taking one attribute of God, in this case His love, and attributing love as His wholly defining characteristic. While God is certainly love, He is also most holy. One could make the case that in fact, holiness is his most defining attribute as the angels in heaven continually proclaim that the Lord God is holy, holy, holy... (Isa 6:3, Rev 4:8). The angels don't proclaim that God is love, love, love. Therefore while God is loving and forgiving, he is most certainly righteous and holy. There is a tension between God's love for us, and what He expects from those who believe in Him. He so loved the world that He gave the gift of His sacrificial Son to all who would believe (Jn 3:16). Yet he expects those who believe to follow Him in obedience (Heb 5:9). So to assert that there are no strings attached to God's love is not accurate as one must also obey.

In your example of Israel, while God certainly loves Israel, they paid dearly for their disobedience to God; though God is not done with them yet.
In your citation of Jn 6:37, you point out that "no way will he cast out the ones who have come to Him." The meaning of this verse hinges on the word "come" from the Greek word "erchomenon" which is a PRESENT tense verb more accurately translated as "coming." Thus it cannot refer to a PAST moment in time when an unsaved person came to Jesus by saying a sinner's prayer; rather one must keep on coming to Jesus in faith in order to not be cast out. One must continue in the faith and not fall away in order to not be cast out.
You cite 1 Cor 13:4 stating that God's love is unfailing. That it is certainly true and God likewise expects us to "put on Christ" - to be like Christ. But what does that entail? Does that mean love? No, it means obedience: "But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires" (Rom 13:4). So while we are to love, we are also to obey.
In Rom 8:38-39, if you notice sin is not on that list as sin indeed separates us from God. We must confess sin and turn away from it.

If God's love is unconditional and He love us no matter what, why does Jn 14:21 read: "Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.” God loves those who obey Him. It does not say God loves those unconditionally even if they disobey by failing to keep His commandments.

See I'm married, right?...I don't love my wife unconditionally. That's crazy. That's not even LOVE. See...how can I love my wife...if she doesn't love me?...aka...make herself available to be loved...aka...actually BE IN THE HOUSE.

If she leaves me...and LOVES ANOTHER MAN...it's a WRAP!!...and it would be so biblical to divorce her.

Conditions, my friend. :)
Have you read the book of Hosea?

God is Hosea.

We are Gomer. We are spiritual adulterers.

It's hard to admit that we are no different than Gomer. But it’s a truth that we should embrace with humility. The one who says he has no sin is a liar and the truth is not in him.

But for now, before we are fully glorified, our Husband stands and fights for us.

The story of Hosea and Gomer reminds us that God loves us not because of our faithfulness, but because of His faithfulness.

Salvation is not about our glory. It is about His glory as He displays His love, grace and mercy through us.

Christ saved us (past tense) and we are even now seated with Him in glory.

We are Gomer and will remain so until we see Him face to face. But we are hopeful and full of joy in this life because the intercession of our husband will never fail.

He continues to intercede for a bride who covets others. Until we see God face-to-face, we will continue to be drawn to other things. That goes for the most "holy" among us.

This is basic Christian theology 101.

What are God's commandments? What is this work that God wants us to do? The disciples asked Christ this question, and He answered John 6:28-29 "Then said they unto Him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on Him whom He hath sent."
It is not by works are we saved, but by grace through faith.

John 5:40 "And this is the will of Him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day."

The kind of life God is giving is everlasting, not temporary as you are a good little boy or girl. We can't be holy in our own strength, anyway. Anything good in us must be Christ.

God is holy, I am not holy, but I have the holiness of God through Christ.

I don't know about you, but I sin everyday. Sometimes every hour. But I have this promise, that if I confess my sins, He is faithful and just to forgive me of my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness.

To suggest that one loses salvation suggests that God welshes on His promises, to see me in Christ. This would be AGAINST His holy nature, to break His word.

If His love is UNCONDITIONAL..then why is there a HELL?
It is a way for God to punish sin and evil eternally.

All things in history (whether righteous or evil) are and will be summed up in Jesus Christ eternally.

That includes the lives of both the saved and unsaved.

We will all either reign with Him in Heaven or suffer with Him in Hell.

He is the Lion and the Lamb. We are either declared the righteousness of God in Him who sits at the right hand of God or we are declared the enemies of God in Him concerning whom it is said that it was the Father's pleasure to crush for the iniquity of the world.

All of the attributes of God are (as they always have been and always will be) displayed in His Son - the exact representation of His nature.

He is displaying His love, mercy and grace in this age and displaying His righteousness and justified wrath in this age as well.

He will also display them in the ages to come.

Eye has not seen nor has it entered into the heart of man the other things which God will display once this present age and it's consequences have been brought to fruition.

His life is ALWAYS eternal, whether you or I have it or not. It is not you that makes life eternal. The question is do you want eternal life, and Jesus answered this. However, you must know Him before you can believe this.

Matthew 19:17
So He said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”

How will you know Him, and how will you enter life if you don't keep His commandments? Do you have another way than the way Jesus told us? It seems many people do have another way. Jesus told us to keep the commandments if we want to enter life. Do you believe this?

What about those who do not confess their sin and cleansed from all unrighteousness? Do they keep their salvation? What promise do those have who do not confess their sin?
What are the commandments of God? I will tell you:
Matthew 22:36-40
"Master, which is the great commandment of the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and prophets."

What is loving God? It is accepting Christ as Saviour. It is agreeing with God that you are a sinner, lost and undone. It is accepting the sacrifice paid for sins, believing He rose from the grave because God accepted the payment. It is trusting Him to save and keep my soul forever, believing His promises. It is knowing that He has done all things well. He is light, there is no darkness in Him.

What is loving your neighbor as yourself? I love myself enough to trust Christ as Saviour. Loving our neighbors in its highest form is warning them of Hell and telling them if Christ.

This is what God commands. It seems like you are preaching a works salvation which is not the gospel. The gospel is "good news", not bad. Good news is that your sins are forgiven and you can choose to go to Heaven through faith in Christ. Bad news would be what you suggest, that there is some need to strive to keep salvation.

Perfect love casteth out fear. God loves me perfectly and I have not a shadow of a doubt that if I died today I would immediately be in the presence of Christ.

Know Jesus= No Fear
No Jesus= Know Fear

If I had to rely on my own righteousness to save me or keep me saved, I'd be lost- as would every human being that ever lived. There is no such thing as sinless perfection in this life. We will have that blessing in the next. But, while we are here, we have that old sin nature (which we are supposed to put to death daily) and our new nature in Christ Jesus.

If we did not retain our sin natures, why then did Paul say "I die DAILY"? Every day we have to try to live in the Spirit and not the flesh.

The Jesus I know is ever forgiving, loving, merciful, longsuffering, and good. Great is His faithfulness, morning by morning, new mercies I see.

Salvation is not amnesty. There was a payment made for sin. What is the value of that payment?
Yeshua died not only for the sins that were committed after His death, but also for the sins committed prior to His death. He died not just for the sins of New Testament saints, but also for the sins of Old Testament saints. God could have judged the Old Testament saints immediately , but He deferred their judgment until the cross. Then that judgment fell upon the Messiah as their substitute as well as the substitute for New Testament believers. In that way, their sins were removed.

This is taught by Acts 17:30: The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked; but now he commands men that they should all everywhere repent: ...

He made the same point in Romans 3:25: ... whom God set forth to be a propitiation, through faith, in his blood, to show his righteousness because of the passing over of the sins done aforetime, in the forbearance of God; ... Again, he pointed out that the sins committed before the death of the Messiah could have been judged immediately , but they were deferred, temporarily overlooked or “passed over,” until the death of the Messiah as their substitute.

In Hebrews 10:4, the writer said: For it is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins.

Animal sacrifice did not and could not remove the sins of the Old Testament saints; it merely covered them temporarily . Once the Messiah died, only then were their sins removed as well.
