"You number my wanderings;
Put my tears into Your bottle;
Are they not in Your book?" Psalm 56:8

I'm so comforted that God is recording our suffering and the spilling of our tears.

When I meet Him, I want to cry in His arms and let all this world's pain out.

Without having to swallow them for the benefit of others anymore.

And then,

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." Revelation 21:4

Most of my live I've only seen sorrows and huge problems so I'm absolutely celebrating when Christ comes!

I want to celebrate too, but first an intimate moment with our Lord and Saviour.

John 5
37: And the Father who sent me has himself borne witness to me. His voice you have never heard, his form you have never seen;
38: and you do not have his word abiding in you, for you do not believe him whom he has sent.
39: You search the scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness to me;
40: yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life.

2 Corinthians 3;
14: But their minds were hardened; for to this day, when they read the old covenant, that same veil remains unlifted, because only through Christ is it taken away.
15: Yes, to this day whenever Moses is read a veil lies over their minds;
16: but when a man turns to the Lord the veil is removed.
17: Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

There won't be much to see of our Lord because he's an invisible Spirit. However, after the day of the Lord destroys all of created man's enemies, man will wake up on a new earth with two bodies of the opposite sex. They will be eternal partners and experience many new dreams together.

I'm sorry, but you have misread those verses. In John 5:37, Jesus is speaking to the Pharisees who cannot see the Lord because they do not believe in Him. Anyone who believes in Christ will see the Lord.

Matthew 5:8 "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God."

And read Matthew 22:30 "At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven."

There won't be any opposite bodies, because we will all have heavenly bodies like the angels.

I've wondered a lot about how I will react when I finally meet Jesus. I will definitely cry, and enjoy His loving embrace. If He came today, I know that I would feel completely unworthy though (even though the Bible says otherwise), because I still carry the guilt and shame from my past, and He would have to take care of me. I hope that I will be ready when He does come, because that is not how I want it to happen.

The nature of God is unobtainable to us.

Even as we are sanctified in Christ we are still stuck with the body of death.

And the closer we draw to Christ the greater we understand His Holiness, and the greater we understand the fallen body we must shed at death.

Keep your lamp full, by enduring unto the end with Him.

I'm going to ball my eyes out.

I'm completely undeserving of knowing our Wonderful All Loving God, yet by His Loving Grace He saved me.

God who washes my feet.

I can not hold my heart. His presence moves me to tears.

Very beautiful.
But we are made holy by His righteousness, worthy in His blood. He washes our sins away, and they are completely forgotten. We all need to embrace this Truth and live by it. It gives us the freedom to stand before His throne.

He once came to me in a dream, and held me. He took away a lot of my shame, and told me not to fear. I felt renewed inside and out for days, and I still feel empowered by His presence anytime I think about it.

We all need to live in His righteousness and be cloaked in our new identities as His children. Nothing we've ever done in our sinful flesh should ever hold us back. It's finished! It's already forgiven! He took it all upon Himself!

Agreed.

The closer you get the more you realize His holiness, and begin to understand the price of our salvation.

Completely unmerited and completely restored in Christ.

Its His garment we ware each day.

Now my soul is reborn in Him I can begin to understand Him, pure eternal love.

Love makes me cry.

Like on my wedding day.

So when the bride is called and we are wedded to the groom in heaven, I will cry.

I'm not sure if the coming of Christ is in a celebratory mood for most people though.

It looks like a day of utter grief. It is the day of judgement.

Matthew 24:30
"Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.

Matthew 16:27
For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.

Revelation 22:11-12
Let the unrighteous continue to be unrighteous, and the vile continue to be vile; let the righteous continue to practice righteousness, and the holy continue to be holy.” 12“Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to each person according to what he has done.…

Matthew 7:22-23
Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ 23Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness.’…

But He will bring us to Him before that day, before He pours out His wrath on humanity.

All of the unrepentant will mourn, but we who have chosen His grace, will celebrate His glory!
