There is but one god. Not every religion that makes this claim actually believes in that one god, however.

You can believe whatever you want, but what I wrote is still what I wrote.

To repeat, people may tell themselves that a religion with a god who is BY DEFINITION not at all the same as the god of another religion is the same one that the other religion worships and believes in. Except for the name of course. In reality, however, the fact that they believe this notion does not make it true.

I am not understanding you mean there is one god but with different names? or each religion worships its own god??

Different religions have different gods even if many members like to think that their god is the same as the next religion's god.

God will not reveal himself to you ever except through the Son and by he Holy Spirit , it must be revealed to you when you believe the Gospel .. Then you must act in faith by being baptized in the name of the Father , the Son , and the Holy Spirit ... Not by sword or money or special understanding .. Salvation is the free gift of God to all mankind .. Jesus the Son bought and paid for our salvation, he bought us all then set us free , free to accept or reject this gift from God .. Jesus showed us how to live and access God the Father as a man and how to live our lives toward both man and God . Only God the Son can save us .. The Word of God became flesh , this flesh was both God and man .. Jesus , the only name given whereby man can call on to be saved .. Muhammad was a nut ..

That's not nice. You make a case for your "truth". And then, you make sure it will be brushed aside by the recipient of your post by calling Muhammad a "nut". Unwise.

Mohammad wasn’t nut prophet Mohammad is a messenger of God who was mentioned in the bible..he is a kind prophet a merciful person ...he called us to believe in all monotheistic religions and divine books including the belief in Jesus thus why are you humiliating him?? Sounds good, but acknowledging that there is only one God is hardly the end of the story. What we think about the nature of that one God and what he demands of us is not at all incidental or unimportant, is it? It seems to me that you made a strong point about that very thing in your post immediately before this one.

How can God be a man who eats and drinks ? He became flesh through his virgin mother but also God in the flesh by his Father in Heaven ... It is taught through out the Bible .. Genesis 3:15 to Revelation 22:12-13 and before , all through, and after .. Eternal ..

Song of Solomon ..
King Solomon is the man and the Queen of Sheba, the mother of Menelek is the supposed woman .. She was black ..

No, the Bible is the Truth, I happen to believe it all .. And if your god instructs you to al taqiyya, or drink camel urine, or marry a young girl before puberty , or receive 72 virgins in paradise, among many other things then be your own judge on the matter ..

no it is very important ...the nature of this God cannot be known because he is a thing not as all things he is absolute he is supernatural...what is demanded from us is two things: firstly to believe in him secondly to do good deeds and then you will

this is the doctrine of the Quran:
Verily! Those who believe and those who are Jews and Christians, and Sabians, whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day and do righteous good deeds shall have their reward with their Lord, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve .
even Christians and Jews will reach salvation through believing and doing good deeds

That's not the case. We have revelation, which describes the nature of God for Jews, Christians, and Moslems.

Those who believe and those who are Jews and Christians, and Sabians, whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day and do righteous good deeds shall have their reward with their Lord, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve .
even Christians and Jews will reach salvation through believing and doing good deeds
