As is one crime committed by rich white older males, but for some reason you don't see anyone calling for a plan to advertise every time it happens. I wonder why.

Perhaps it is because they are US citizens? And as such, even when breaking the law and convicted they do not lose their US citizenship.

It is up to the States to prosecute US citizens residing in their states for violent crimes. Unless they break federal statutes. It is up to the Federal Government to prosecute violators of immigration laws and protect our borders. That is why illegal immigrants who break our laws becomes a Federal concern, and why Joe Bag of Donuts from Lawton, OK killing someone in OK is not not a federal concern but a state concern.

VOICE does absolutely nothing to address that or border protection at all.

Voice has a lot to do with that..it addresses the victims..if there were no victims, there would be no use for the matter at hand.

MS 13 members aren't coming here to be hired by American business owners that love to hire cheap illegal labor. And there is zero evidence of ISIL operating in the U.S. so that's nothing but an appeal to emotion.
Ever heard of San Bernadino? ISIS claimed responsibility for that...

ISIS did not claim responsibility, only that they had inspired the killers. FBI agrees that they were "homegrown violent extremists".

Donald Trump has announced the formation of a service dedicated to highlighting crime committed by immigrants.?

The purpose is to assist the victims of crime. If the criminals feel threatened by the attention, so be it, but I still think that a government that does NOT care about these victimized citizens (as Obama did not) is derelict in a very fundamental way.

It is up to the States to prosecute US citizens residing in their states for violent crimes. Unless they break federal statutes.

Actually, it's up to the states to prosecute anyone who commits a violent crime in their state, regardless of where they live.

It is up to the Federal Government to prosecute violators of immigration laws and protect our borders. That is why illegal immigrants who break our laws becomes a Federal concern, and why Joe Bag of Donuts from Lawton, OK killing someone in OK is not not a federal concern but a state concern.

And yet, Jose Bag of Donuts from Tijuana killing someone in OK is a state concern, because murder is a state crime, and it clearly trumps (no pun intended) his immigration status.

So Jose gets life in an OK prison, and then deported... and if you think about that for a second, you'll see the conundrum.

@Kevin Ambrose answered this twice already. The illegal immigrants committing crimes should not be here in the first place.

Those who are born here and commit crimes, are US citizens and we can't help but to have them here. We can prevent citizens of other nations from coming here to commit crimes; and we can demand those who are here illegally (not legal residents or citizens of this country) go back to where they came from and thus not continue to commit crimes here in the USA.

Shockingly, to some House and Senate members, this is called enforcing the laws already on the books---Law and order.

How is this program assisting in this goal?
