Back in my day we played the Nintendo 64 as opposed to the Wii kids have now.

I grew up playing video games on our now old Nintendo 64.

Yes, and back in my day, we only had 151 Pokemon as well.

Which, of course, we do... I always saw right through my teachers' bull-pucky on that one.

I feel like our generation had it best. Our lives were not yet consumed by glowing screens (phones, tablets) as kids, but those glowing screens sure have come in handy as adults.

Whenever I found a computer that had Space Cadet Pinball I got really excited because mine only had solitaire and minesweeper. I remember being like "you're sooo lucckkkyyyy" lol.

Oregon Trail was a HUGE one when I was a kid. That was the game that gave me my first taste of strategy in a game. Then Carmen Sandiago. From there the very first Age of Empires.

We used to walk around everywhere in barefeet

It was fun to go on adventures to places

We used to hang out in person, talk, appreciate small things

Now life has changed a lot with technology, time is now spent a lot around

Kids still go outside.

I remember being a kid and hearing the same thing from older people. "Kids don't go outside anymore, they just fiddle with their gadgets". And I was like.. uh we go outside a lot. We had a healthy dose of both IMO.
