Basically the story was that she was involved in the occult and he was there and Benny Hinn said that she would get saved soon.

Yeah, who knows, but I tend to go with anywhere from, "It's all made up" to it's a 50/50 prediction since we all will either get saved or not (assuming she is even saved) and the old adage, even a Clock is right twice a day.

I guess I'd have to ask how many of his prophesies did not come true? Just one wrong prophecy doesn't pass the biblical test for a true prophet.

If he wasn't of God, why would she see a white light around him and how would he know that she was doing attacks on him?

What do you mean by assuming she is even saved?

Do you believe stories of people who leave the occult? I find a few of them to be suspect.

I've heard of no particular stories other than this one that I recall, but I have little doubt people come to their senses, whether it be from involvement in the occult, a cult or whatever and do get out.

I find this suspect because of the circumstances surrounding it, that being mainly Hinn. I found the following without really looking that hard, so not sure what else is out there, but this is enough to tell us plenty.

Luke 21:8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

The bible is very clear that we'll know when Christ returns, "we will be changed in the twinkling of an eye" and any claims like Hinn has made in the clip to get more people in his meetings, hence more money, are absolutely bogus.

I'll make it a point to watch the video in full tomorrow. Even then, there may be nothing in particular, it's more about circumstance that makes me suspect, and not so much what she claims, but there could still be clear untrue claims.

I hate to go there with anyone but a perfectly honest "opinion" would be, quite to the contrary, I would absolutely not want to be him if he remains in the state he's in till the end.

Why would Rebekah's testimony talk about light around him and him saying her powers dont work there?

Because they are both lying through their teeth?

We've seen him do that, so it's hardly a far fetched possibility. People will make up all kinds of stories to look holy and clean out their congregation. And I do understand that at first it's hard to imagine someone would have the nerve to do that in the name of Christ/God, and how unbelievable it sounds, but money can do things to people. We don't understand it, and it may sound crazy, because we would never consider even thinking about doing such a thing, but it happens, I have zero doubt about it.

The inability to believe someone would do that, is what keeps some in his congregation coming back. Some of these are good people that have been deceived.

Mathew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

You don't believe TRIN ministries?

I was referring to Rebekah saying that Benny Hinn said her powers don't work there. What about Angela Greenig and her ministry?

What about people like John Ramirez or Jeff Harshbarger? Do you not believe their stories?

“For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.” Matt 7:2
Not saying don't judge but got enough going on without causing more on myself.

“But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.” Matt 12:36

If he was your friend or biological brother or son, would you say the same words with the same attitude?

As far as his salvation, gosh just see lots of love in that question especially since only Yahweh knows our hearts (I Sam 16:7)

How do you define a word of knowledge and a word of wisdom (I Cor 12:8)?

Ephesians 5:11
Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.

To quote Darren Wilson's site.
Unlike some charlatans of the past who maybe embellished these kinds of things in order to sell a book or fund a speaking tour, “Esther” as we’ll call her, didn’t want any of that. She just wanted to stay under the radar, and my film was obviously a threat to that.

In the end, we agreed to hide her face and change her voice, and that seemed enough to assuage her fears.

The whole interview was almost destroyed before I arrived. As soon as I got off the plane, I found out that both she and her husband (he has a ministry in Europe) had been “betrayed” by one of their closest friends.

We need to test the spirits against the word of GOD.

As far as the light goes
2 Corinthians 11:14
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

This post is not my intention to indicate that Hinn is Satan Just say test him against the word of GOD.
