I would like to use this thread to relate N.D.E.'s to scripture.

I'll get started -

Most people have heard of N.D.E.'s (Near Death Experiences) claiming that their lives had flashed before their eyes or that they had received a "life review". This is the Spirit of truth showing them moments of their lives. I read of one account were these moments are seen in bubbles. And it was so overwhelming that Jesus had to hold the person up so their legs would not give in and collapse.

John 16:13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

He, the Spirit of truth has shown N.D.E.'s moments of their lives - "whatever He hears He will speak".

And many of us have heard of N.D.E.'s seeing a light at the end of a tunnel and this light some say is Heaven.

Revelations 22:5 There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.

If there's one thing near death experiences prove is that there is life after physical death. As far as the white light goes, it doesn't mean Heaven. The unsaved also see the white light. The white light could represent truth, which results in a different outcome for people, depending on whether they're saved.

In most of my accounts of born-again believers experiencing an NDE, there's often one or more angels escorting them. It's usually not been a sole transport experience. If you believe every Christian has a guardian angel, then it's reasonable to believe you're not traveling to see Heaven or Hell alone.

I agree, the white light doesn't necessarily mean Heaven.

Luke 16:22 So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom.

I believe that it's the brain shutting down. A lot of memories have to go somewhere so they are dug up, and flash before said person's eyes. The brain is a powerful organ.
What of those who say the get a tour of Heaven and Hell, kinda like Dante?
I call shenanigans on that.
If a person has an NDE I will never tell them what I just said. I don't ever want to tarnish someone's faith; but this is a forum after all :)

I believe in Guardian Angels so I suppose nothing is impossible with God.

Here is scripture showing that we are gathered at the time of our deaths.

Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

We walk through the valley of the shadow of death when our bodies die and it is the shepherds rod and staff which gather the sheep.

It is not so hard to believe in NDE's considering we are also out of our bodies and in the spirit world while dreaming.

Mathew 1:20-21 an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins."

Many of the people who have had a NDE bear witness and give testimony to Father God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, angels, saints, the kingdom of heaven and many truths within the Holy Bible.

Revelations 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.

This is not a NDE, but it did happen at the time of my wife's dad's death. When he had died, her sister and brother-in-law heard trumpets blowing - the welcoming into a royal family.

This scripture is actually of the second coming of the Son of Man. I'm quoting it to demonstrate a relationship between trumpets and a gathering.

Mathew 24:31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Some people who have had a N.D.E. (Near Death Experience) say that they were shown moments of the future.

John 16:13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

Some people who have had a NDE speak of seeing family.

Genesis 25:8 Then Abraham breathed his last and died in a good old age, an old man and full of years, and was gathered to his people.

What about different NDE testimonies? Some describe hell in earth, others talk about hearing it at the edge of heaven. suspect at best to me.

Hell is primarily, the state or condition of being without God in the afterlife. There are places of hell as well. I have heard of the darkness beneath the earth. But never have I heard of hell being at the edge of heaven.

After reading the accounts of many near-death experiences (NDEs), I've come to the conclusion that the writers are fabricating their testimonies, namely because practically every NDE is unique and not consistent with what the Bible teaches about the afterlife. After we die, we awaken in our new heavenly bodies, which our souls coexist with, then we become citizens of heaven. None of the NDE testimonies that I've read say this or anything like it.

We are not reunited with our bodies until our return for 1000 years.

The resurrection of our bodies will come some time after the first one thousand years.

Revelation 20:6. Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years.

Do you think NDE could be false miracles and from the enemy? A lot of them confirm Islam, Hinduism, etc, and are used to deceive people away from Jesus.

Good question. They are not all from the enemy, but some could be.

Which ones do you view as of God? Heaven Cant Wait

There are other tales circulating through the church, some of which are more fanciful than others. For example, Howard O. Pittman speaks of the heavenly realm and the realm of demons in his books, Placebo (which is based on his alleged near-death experience in 1979) and Demons: An Eyewitness Account. In Demons (The Philadelphia Publishing House, 1982) Pittman includes line drawings of the many different types of demons he was shown by the angels as they escorted him through the spirit world. Some appeared like frogs, he reported, while others looked like soldiers, mythological creatures, and other forms.

Like many other modern-day visionaries, Baxter diverges from Scripture by portraying hell in terms of The Divine Comedy by Dante (A.D. 1265-1321). Thus demons and Satan himself function as supervisors in hell, responsible for inflicting pain (beyond the pain already inflicted by hell itself) on people under their charge.[32] In one scene demons are portrayed as dancing around a coffin "chanting and laughing" as they keep thrusting spears into a human victim.[33] The Bible, however, teaches that the Devil himself will be thrown into "the lake of fire" to face eternal punishment (Rev. 20:7-10). And Jesus added that "the eternal fire" will be specifically created for "the devil and his angels" (Matt. 25:41). [See What and Where is Hell]

What about that youtube channel where the guy posts videos of end time prophecies, a woman who saw babies in hell-all not of God.
