I think that both the entrenched Republicans and Democrats had a rude awakening when Trump won. Frankly, at this point, this is still the only thing I can see that is good about him being elected.

Rush Limbaugh and many others agreed. Trump did a good job.

I do expect Trump to bust up the Beltway rice bowls.

Guess what. the First Amendment does not say " Thou Shalt not criticize the Press for being dishonest and partisan .". They deserve the criticism not just in terms of Trump but across the board. Its just that with Trump they cannot seem to even put up a decent front to disguise their hatred of him. . When Trump starts attempting to censor them through executive order then you can dust off the actual First Amendment that so many of the politically correct warriors and extreme statists are not cool with and I will back your accusations 100%. Until then, just stick to reality and the things he actually does that you despise rather than lamely pretending that criticizing the Press is somehow an attack on the Constitution. That sort of hysterical hyperbole actually just reinforces the Trump supporters' opinion about his opposition. Trying to paint Trump as a loudmouthed looney might work, but trying to paint him as sinister just brings chuckles to anyone with any sense of proportion..

Well, President Trump was not the only President that jumped around the Establishment's media. Franklin D. Roosevelt had created his own way to put out real news about what he truly has been doing. It was called Fireside chat.
The reason why he had done this....

And that is why the Establishment wants to go global, that it is because they has lost control over everything since of the new global competitors.

The first amendment is great. It is those who corrupt it by posing as an honest press, when they willingly distort and ignore the truth and print lies that are the problem.
