I'm so excited for it! Though I'll probably wait a while before buying it because I want to get the new Zelda game for my Wii U instead. I just hope that the game line up is better than when the Wii U first came out because it took a while before the good games started to come in.

I had -100000% interest in it. Its just another low end gaming system but portable. It has 3 hours battery life only with lowered settings. It cost to much. And shows Nintendo is just about gimmicks instead of coming up with new ideas that revolutionize gaming. I fell for buying the Wii and regretted it. Ignored the Wii U and the DS system after the 3DS. Won't get the Switch either.

If it wasn't for Zelda and Mario, they would have a much smaller fan base.

i won't be getting it(due to the fact that i'm not into videogames like that anymore) but i think nintendo has a good idea here but aren't going to execute things right.

-they need to allow for this system to play all the games from their past home and handheld consoles either through online(for cartridge consoles and handhelds) or by making the switch backwards compatible(disc consoles and handhelds).

-they should make the hardware more powerful. while graphics may not matter, hardware compatibility does. 3rd party devs having to nerf their games to fit on your system isn't going to be very attractive to them.

-they need to kill the 3DS. there's no reason for them to use resources for two different consoles when one will be able to play both. make it where 3DS games can be played on the switch and stop devloping for it. 3DS owners will upgrade to the switch knowing they can still play their games and much more.

-take advantage of interactive gaming by making good games for it. 12 switch looks dumb, they need to do better. wii sports and wii fit were awesome.

even if they had to sell the console for $500 do do this they would have a winner.

I should also add I got tired of any old games I wanted to play (Super Mario Brothers...etc) I had to rebuy for every system. They profit alot off of old game.s I just use my computer instead to play them. So I have no real need for the new system, unless I wanted to play Zelda, which I don't.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of playing console games on an emulator, unless I can't get them otherwise.

I've heard mixed things about the new Zelda. I really don't want to be disappointed lol. Skyward sword was so sexist that I didn't play it.

Wait, what? How in the world was Skyward Sword sexist? I played through that game a few times and I did not see anything sexist in that game.

The thing that would get me buying systems is more backward compatibility. I really don't want to buy games I've already bought.
This is how corporations get people to keep buying from them! :)

I think Henry Ford called it 'built in obsolescence'.

I don't know but Breath of the Wild makes it tempting.
The newest Nintendo home console I have is a Gamecube so I guess I kind of am due for an upgrade. If I do end up getting a Switch I'll definitely wait to see if they come out with a "gen 2" or whatever first because that's pretty common these days. And I'll also wait for the price to go down because I'm cheap like that.

I'm happy with my 3DS so I couldn't really care less about the portability. If it ends up having some really great games I'll consider it.

I would have to wait and see what other games they decide to make for the Switch. So far it doesn't seem to be anything new to me. I bought the Wii and then decided to skip out buying the Wii-U just because I wasn't really all that impressed with it. But we shall see.

I'll get a Switch as soon as I can find one. They're selling out pretty good right now. Already have Breath of the Wild for it and the new Zelda amiibo... I have quite a collection of amiibos actually. I'm a big Smash fan, enjoy playing other games too.

Long story short, I'll be getting it as soon as I can. The Arms game looks pretty fun, and some of the other titles. I'll always support Nintendo over Sony and Microsoft.
