Bosh. Read the Bible. At the time Jesus was on the other side of the Sea of Galilee in Gentile territory.
No, He wasn't.

Gad, Reuben, and East Manasseh all settled east of the Jordan River.

It's interesting that "Gad" means "troop" or "legion."

GADara was in the country of the GADarenes, which was within the borders of GAD.

If you add something to it I'm sure I could too if the mood took me.

I think you missed my point. AV added something to the Gadara story ("like butter"). Don't get bent out of shape if I take the same liberty. I'd also be interested to hear how you know for sure the Gadarene didn't have tools.
Not after you said mark 9 was exact and clear yet leave out what was clear and exact

Those who remember the parts you are leaving out are reminding you that you are doing so

they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes. 2And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, 3Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains: 4Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him

Please be exact and clear
Would you say you are adding your own opinion in supplying the idea that this man left in the tombs locked up had both locked himself up and been left with tools to unlock himself whenever he chose to?

How kind of the townspeople to leave tools for the man whom none could tame !

Eating pork was against the Mosaic Law. So the owner was in violation. That the disrespectful pig lose his herd of swine was fitting justice.
Oh boy! Never made that connection
Thanks for that insight

Notice their reaction?

Mark 5:16 And they that saw it told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil, and also concerning the swine.
Mark 5:17 And they began to pray him to depart out of their coasts.

They didn't want anything to do with Him.

He had just ruined them financially!

Wrong treasure

Notice how the man healed wanted to go with THE LORD, but THE LORD sent him back?

Imagine what a profound witness of CHRIST he must have been

I think the LORD was gracious in sending the healed man back

Maybe at the moment the people didn't make the right judgement
But possibly they came to their senses afterwards through the healed man's testimony

Ah

You have more love for pigs than for humans?

And this is the morality you wish to make known?

Your comments already make manifest that you don't understand who is in control over who

And because you don't you make wrong judgements and run the risk of "misrepresenting" GOD
Not answering the question shows that you have not answer. Better yet, simply claiming that I am the one with the low moral standard is a pretty poor deflection tactic. And then there is the beautiful "You don't understand the Bible" claim.

Pretty standard stuff for people without a leg to stand on.

Can't you find any better straws to clutch at? Gentiles may eat pork if they so desire. They're not subject to Mosaic Law. And if you want to punish a human, do you really think killing animals is the way forward? Where do you get that moral direction from?

Where did I say he locked himself up? You're adding to what I said. But then you're allowed to do that if it helps make a point, aren't you?

How kind of the townspeople to leave tools for the man whom none could tame !
So you think the townspeople left the tools rather than them being his? Where did you get that from?

Does that make you feel better sir?

Anyone can read and see that I have indeed answered and am actually wondering why the exact and clear writing of mark 9 wasn't exact and clear

I have been waiting for you to respond to that

Only they weren't Gentiles, they were Jews from the tribe of Gad.

And even if they weren't eating the pork themselves, but selling it to the Gentiles, Jesus ruined them financially.
