acchi kocchi is a great option. As a bit of a shameless plug you might consider my youtube channel I have been working very hard to get my faith based anime reviews to a place where they are both entertaining and informative. Just released the third episode.

RWBY. Comedy and action moving into serious emotion and consequences.

Perhaps you could say it starts Harry Potter, and moves to being Lord of the Rings, but with more risk to main characters.
RWBY is not an anime. Also Jojo's bizarre advanture is great.

The creator of RWBY monty oum is Japanese and the show took a lot of stuff from anime. Additionally there are now anime from Japan done almost entirely in 3d, though unlike rwby they still look 2d and would not have known other than being told. So maybe in the absolute purest since it is not an anime, however I would still consider it more anime than anything else, especially latter seasons.

I have recently gone into sport manga/anime and there is a new series called "All Out!" The manga has started since 2012 but the anime adaptation started in 2016.

The story is on rugby. It has hardly any vulgarity but not much about lovey-dovey. However it's more on relationships like coaches-and-trainees, teachers-and-students, fellow students-and-students, parents-and-children, etc. It's pretty much a shonen genre.

I don't usually read/watch sport series but this one gives a good feeling about how people interact with each other and how their lives intertwine with one another, and through rugby, people get closer to each other, even when they are their opponents and rivals.

I thought I will briefly state it here that you may take interest in it.

On another note, I notice some others have recommended series like "School Rumble" - I would strongly agree with them that this is a very good series. Years ago, it has filled me with lots and lots of laughter. It was definitely a good series of its time.

Another series which I have been following for ages is "Detective Conan." This is a very long ongoing series since 1994 but is still popular. It's like readers/viewers grow up with it (and the author).

Hmmm.. one more series - Assassination Classroom. This is a very interesting series. It's about how the students are "assigned by law" to kill their teacher. Well, it isn't violent as how the title and the basis of the story goes, but it's filled with a lot of emotions - laughter, anger, frustration, sadness, confusion, fear, and so on. This is one of my favourite series which I can read/watch and re-read/re-watch over and over again.

Well, I guess I will stop for a moment. Perhaps you may like to share some of the series you have watched or are currently watching, it will give us some idea of what your interest is. Concurrently, we don't have to repeat what you have watched before or are watching by recommending it to you again.

Be blessed! :cheer:

I saw some Case Closed dub episodes on Cartoon Network/Adult Swim back in the day: I can see how it lasted up to nearly 1K episodes.

Assassination Classroom has a spin off minisode series running now on Crunchyroll: Koro Sensei Quest. Very Dragon Quest JRPG styled with some jokes, but still very fun in general with the setting change only adjusting certain things

A new one this series is "Nyanko Days".

It's a family-friendly number in which cats are presented as miniature humans. The first five episodes (I haven't seen #6 yet) involve a high school girl's cats inadvertently helping her to make a friend.

Episodes are about 2 minutes each, with 30 seconds of that being credits.

Makes me wonder 2 things: 1) What's the view count on those episodes on CR proportional to longer episodes and 2) Will the manga get picked up soon?

Then again, I still need to get Oshiete Galko-chan's manga volumes

Let's just say that I haven't been watching episodes on Crunchyroll, so I'm not sure.

Me either, though I feel like views per episode aren't viewable anyone, unlike, say, Youtube.

Episode 6 was one of my favorites, because Elsa's so fun, not to mention I learn more about Angora cats in my own research

IRL, I've had cats ever since I got my first one in 1990. I've seen everything from behavior that's aberrant even by feline standards to cats with trait combinations that by all rights shouldn't exist. This show? Spot on to actual cat behavior.

Indeed: we have three cats and they almost feel like they have the variations: one is more prone to getting into trouble like Maa, one's very needy like Shii and one's fairly calm like Rou, though she doesn't like being held much and likely has some trauma from having her kittens taken away (though that makes me wonder about female cats who have a litter and then get spayed)

The trio reminds me a bit of Hanamaru Kindergarten: heck, the introduction of Elsa, an upper class cat, makes me think a bit of Hinagiku, the proper ladylike girl who's the daughter of a yakuza head, though she's not nearly as tsundere as Elsa

Even though I'm into romance & comedy anime also, definitely try Boku dake ga Inai Machi or also known as ERASED. It's a really good psychological anime and only 12 episodes long, but you get so hooked!

But if you'd prefer romance, comedy, try Ore Monogatari!!. It's adorable!

For laid-back comedy, I would recommend Polar Bear Cafe (it's pretty clean). For romance, Kimi Ni Todoke, Orange, and Magic-Kyun! Renaissance. Blue Spring Ride is also a good choice.

Of course, there's also some really good Studio Ghibli films out there: The Cat Returns, Whisper Of The Heart, When Marnie Was There, and etc.

I apologize if these have already been mentioned, but I recommend ReLife. (The manga is in color and is far more advanced in the story than the anime, so I would recommend reading that one first). I generally like slice of life anime or sports ones because they're so motivational and get you pumped up. I like Haikyuu, Kuroko no basuke (there's some swearing in this one though), Yowamushi Pedal, Chihayafuru is hands down one of my favorite anime, and Barakamon (there's a particular topic that comes up that I don't really care for..but overall, a really good slice of life anime). I also liked Free!

If you're looking for something fun and clean, without much violence or sexual stuff, then I suggest Little Witch Academia (currently airing, kind of like Harry Potter except that the overall tone is lighter and more comedic), or Demi-chan wa Kataritai (an adorable, heart-warming anime about a teacher and some very unusual students).

Just looking for some good anime to watch.

Preferably looking for some that's relatively clean, you know. No inappropriate contentographic images, not very much swearing, or gore.
I like Comedy animes a lot, but also some romance.

Thanks for any suggestions :)
Anything by hayao miyazaki is very good. My favorites are Howls Moving Castle and Spirited Away
