So many to go it's downright depressing....

Flynn resigns amid controversy over Russia contacts - CNNPolitics.com

Although an extreme makeover is obviously needed, this small move in the right direction is encouraging.

I am hopeful that this will result in more carefully vetted, ethically transparent choices in the future.

My concern, of course, is that he is being scapegoated for having undertaken a mission for the then-president-elect.

So many to go? Why is it your mission to take down Trump and his people? He was RIGHTFULLY ELECTED! Why do you think you're so superior that when you lose an election, your opinion matters more than those who voted for him?

They are behaving the exact same way and worse than the people who were against the Obama Administration, that they criticized. They are also applauding Democrats trying their hardest to obstruct, something which they repeatedly criticized Republicans for. It's amazing.

They criticized the republicans for doing A LOT of the same things they've been doing. Hillary going all, "That is horrifying" when Donald even suggested he would wait and see about the election. She insisted he was a threat to democracy by not conceding the outcome. All the dems lined up and attacked Trump up and down for it. Then what happens when he wins? They cry about it and spend the next 4 months in denial. "He's not my president!" Then Hillary joins in with the recount. Oh, but there's no voter fraud, right Hillary? They are doing right now exactly what they claimed was dangerous for Trump to do. A lot of the things Trump is doing, was already in motion from the Obama administration, but when Trump even suggests it, he's racist.

The election is over... no one is re litigating that.
Now He has to actually govern without giving away national secrets to our adversaries (or allies). Such is proving to be an extremely difficult task for this President.

When the NSA comes out and says that they are deliberately not telling the President everything because they are certain he will hand over the information to Russia if they do, that should be chilling to anyone regardless of which side of the Isle they are on.

It is interesting. Were you concerned about the actions of Mr Flynn regarding Russia? Were they appropriate? Is further investigation into this matter warranted?
I think the media is blowing this out of proportion. That said, I recognize that Flynn messed up and I think the right action was taken.... demanding his resignation.

Trumps reaction was decisive and swift. Let's move on.

Much worse took place under the Obama admin and the media didn't make a peep.

Just a few hours earlier Kellyanne Conway reported that the President was 110% behind Flynn...

Even though the NSA had informed the administration about Flynn's communications with Russia on the day sanctions were announced. Apparently the Russians were ready to respond in kind, but after talking to Flynn, Putin uncharacteristically decided to do nothing....

Why did Flynn not get fired as soon as the NSA reported the information to the administration? He could have left without arousing any suspicion, citing health or family reasons. Instead, they decided to see if they could get away with it, hopefully leading to a full investigation.

Flynn's party is of little interest, but here's what Wikipedia said:
Flynn is a registered Democrat, having grown up in a "very strong Democratic family".[70] However, he was a keynote speaker during the first night of the 2016 Republican National Convention,[53] and he was a surrogate and top national security adviser for President Donald Trump.

The real question is: Who voted for his confirmation? How many (if any) Democrats? Who shielded him when US Intelligence reported his malfeasance on February 8?

Trump was a Democrat for many years--but don't expect Democrats to take the blame for what's happening today. We don't want him back. We don't claim him. We don't support him.

Was Trump's reaction swift? I think it was relatively slow. I'm also interested in learning what Trump knew when. He made several statements while campaigning regarding Russia that gave me pause, and I suspect they gave you pause too.

Much worse took place under the Obama admin and the media didn't make a peep.

that might be so. Frankly, I'm not sure we know exactly how deep this rabbit hole goes yet.

Child-killing murderers like Hillary would be preferable is that it?
