Is Jesus really male?

Jesus is a masculine persona within the Heavenly realm.

A Jewish baby girl yes. The pro-women peace loving Muslims not so much, but glad we need not consider that possibility here.

How could He be circumcised as a 8 day old boy were He not male?

How could He teach in the Temple and synagogues were He not male?

Or have you not noticed this?

John 1:2 "He was with God in the beginning"... "He" is clear... and again in John 1:15 "John testified concerning him"...."Him"..very clear. There are others places where the male pronoun is used, these 2 examples are my quick thoughts

Jesus was a man in His incarnation as the Son of Man. Until then Jesus was a member of the Godhead and had no gender as we understand that term.

No one can argue that Jesus is not male based on the truth of the Bible.

He was circumcised on the 8th day. Jews don't do that for girls.

This is even more evident if we read the intertestamental wisdom literature. There is the identification of Wisdom as something more like an hypostasis of God, moving on from Proverbs view of wisdom as simply a personification. In addition, the monastic tradition sometimes had poetic imagery of Jesus as a mother.

One thing I wanted to say. Feminist interpretations of the Bible are sexist.

Sorry, are you serious?
Mary gave birth to a son, who was given a male name (Greek for Joshua) and circumcised. Jesus is always referred to as he, and the son of a carpenter.

People on this other site who say he was a woman, clearly haven't read their Bibles.

There's a big difference between genital mutilation and circumcision. Just because some Muslims call one the other doesn't mean we should.

Lol. Even the so-called gender-inclusive bible versions have figured out that basic aspect of human anatomy.

Ricky Tidwells mama was all woman, and Jesus was all man and I've thought what a great middle linebacker Jesus would make ..

Fish, are you a Man? What proof can you show me other than you stating that you are a man, in your profile. I believe you are a man because you state that you are man, just as the Bible states Jesus Christ is a MAN, not only that but what the Catholic Church which is the Church that wrote the New Testament and compiled in to a book called bible, states Christ is a Man.

Here is another clue among many, what I told you above and in Luke 2:21 that Jesus Christ is a Man. (Only Men can be CIRCUMCISED)

Luke 2: 21And after eight days were accomplished, that the child should be circumcised, his name was called JESUS, which was called by the angel, before he was conceived in the womb.

We're told in John 4:24 that God is a spirit. That precludes gender as humans would identify.
