I have a very hard time believing god loves me...to the point

Its causing horrible anxiety... Like I just can't believe it...not like, I'm in awe...

More like I don't trust it. Because of how my life is currently...if God loved me so much he would help he would do something...so I just naturally feel like God doesn't care for me..that I'm not his favorite.

I can't sleep ,barely eat and feel he's out to get me. I kinda hated I believed in the first place.

Because I'm stressed beyond belief and god doesn't care...if he did my situation would be different and he wouldn't be silent.

Idk ...just trying to make it until we move and these are the hardest 5 days ill have to go through....

I just feel like god wants to destroy me to keep me from moving into that nice place ..like maybe he thinks I don't deserve to go there..idk.

I know. It is YOU who misinterpret scripture. That is often the case with those who are "rubbed the wrong way." In any event, His Word is Truth.

Well, God doesn't play favorites, he loves us all.

Suffering was caused by mans own free will, so shall it continue.
The whole world is cursed with sin, sin caused the world to suffer, and God allowed the suffering, not only because it is our free will that caused it, but that it also teaches us that we need God.

We rebelled, and this is what we get for it, this is the world we live in because of rebellion. And imagine hell is much much worse.
He's giving you a choice, Him, the ultimate good, or Hell, the ultimate bad.
It doesn't mean he doesn't care, I use to think the exact same way some years ago, we've talked about how much I hated God before I believe.

But once you understand his true nature, and the reason behind the suffering, you start to love him.
We're all in the same boat, God doesn't single out one person to pick on (not that I think he picks on people), it is our sin that makes us suffer, and the sin is not of God.

Your beef is with Satan, if not for him, we wouldn't be in this mess.

Just endure this life, and Heaven will await you, eternal joy, and happiness, a place devoid of suffering, pain and death.

I know it's easy in the moment to blame God, but he isn't at fault here.
And I don't fully understand why he doesn't help those who love, and follow him.
A couple things though.
They're tests, you're seeded with doubt, and I'm not trying to be mean here.
He needs to know who truly stands with Him.

Deuteronomy 31:8
It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.

Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you

Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go

1 Peter 5:7
Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.

Philippians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

I know it's hard, but you have to trust God, through the good and the bad.

I can relate to what you are feeling. Last year i was sick for a couple of months (a rare thing for me) and through it all I spent hours pleading with God for healing or at least to feel His presence.

It didn't happen for me, and it was only me hanging onto the memories of the times He was there for me, that allowed me to keep my faith.

One thing that inspires me is JOB, through it all he kept his faith. That inspires me to never give up.

I try to relate to Paul who was beaten and in chains but was able to say he was able to find comfort in any situation........

11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

Delusion, lol...I'm not crazy..I'm not running up and own the street. Its just ..idk, I feel god doesn't like me much if at all. That's it.

i can understand, at times like this, why so many people dont have, or loose their faith. I mean why would He do that?

However I know there were times in the past where everything seemed lost, I was in a deep pits of turmoil, loss and dispair. for 5 mths it was like that, and a daily battle to keep going. A place where I often longed for, even begged for death to end the pain.

but time and time again, i turned to the word and would read scripture out loud, and I would be uplifted, the pain gone and i would be filled with JOY.

From these moments I KNOW God is real and HE cares for me.

I believe the secret I life is to be DESPERATE for God, all the time. Even when things are great, still be desperate. Dont wait until your world falls apart.

NOTE: I am still trying to put that into practice, lol

I know, I wonder the same. If I could hear him say, hey I love you..I'm not mad or disappointed would make a world of difference. In not asking fo4 alot..just asking for comfort. Other people get it and that's why they can trust god because they get those little things that lets th3m know god loves them. Like him telling them, letting them feel his presensce,,, so its no wonder they have all the faith in the world.

But if you don't have any of those things... Those small reassurances, you will lose faith. Because a relationship is a 2 way street...I just don't understand god ..at all, or his bias towards some people

Yeah ill try doing what you've done. I don't know if ill ever believe god cares for me... But I still believe in god and I can't shake it so I have to put this gift of faith to some type of use right?

God loves you. He cares for you. He gave His life for you. What is getting in the way of that? Your very own doubt. HE is not responsible for your doubt. You are.

Study the scriptures. John 14:6, John 3:16-17, John 5:24.

Confess Romans 10:8-13.

Read Romans 8:1.

Read Ephesians 2:8-9.

Again: God loves you. He cares for you. He gave His life for you. What is getting in the way of that? Your very own doubt. HE is not responsible for your doubt. You are.
