With a leg up on the matter (Elijah's nature), a secure focus is paramount.

Now you know this isn’t contrived of me. In everyday street-use vernacular, yes, pestering is more prone to be used in complaining rather than seeking. But the Lord did draw down on the latter,

Luke 18:5

“, , by continually coming she will wear me out.” (NASB)

“, , this widow keeps pestering me” (BSB)

“, , this woman is driving me crazy.” (NLT)

“, , this widow keeps bothering me,” (ISV)

“, , yet because she annoys me” (WNT)

And this is what I am saying we have gotten accustom to, we don’t treat our conversation with the Lord as did Mary and Martha. We tend to dry up the expectant reality of “If” with “don’t” use that mindset, ‘He is God and is able and all knowing, so don’t upset the cart, , etc’. Baloney, if I were there with Mary and Martha and not even related to Lazarus, I would also have pressed the same if I could.

She weary me - The word used here, in the original, is that which was employed to denote the wounds and bruises caused by "boxers," who beat each other, and blacken their eyes, and disable them., , Hence, it means any vexatious and troublesome importunity that takes the time, and disables from other employment. - Barnes

If I resist the pester seeking as it is written, then why should I hold out for much to happen?
I hear your heart 'rocknanchor'. I hear the Word of God. Let us 'keep on keeping on'. Let us keep on 'pressing on','pressing in'. Persevering, overcoming,'going through' in prayer and action. Amen!

My disagreement is in the common interpretation of the parable. It is assumed that the unjust judge is a metaphor for God, to which I disagree. He is the just Judge, not an unjust judge. Jesus is making a contrast. If a widow will get results by her persistence with an unjust judge, how much sooner will we get results from the just Judge? This is the Lord's conclusion:

Luk 18:7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
Luk 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

The Lord's emphasis is not on the elect crying day and night, but that he will avenge them speedily. Yet, in spite of God's willingness to answer prayer quickly, when He returns few will believe He answers prayer quickly.

The point he is making is that unanswered prayer is not God's fault. God answers all our prayers. The fault lies elsewhere - our unbelief, Satan's hindrance, prayers contrary to His will, double mindedness, etc. Yet the natural tendency is to blame God.

Persist in your faith. Believe when you pray that you have received the answer to your prayer, but when the manifestation of the answer is delayed seek to find out what hinders the answer.

Nagging God does nothing. Mary and Martha did not get Jesus to raise Lazarus from the dead by their nagging. Jesus fully intended to raise him from the dead. He waited for the death of Lazarus to be absolutely certain so when he would come back to life no one could say he was not really dead.

Quite right, sometimes our own stinking lust.
The Lord's emphasis is not on the elect crying day and night
Woe, ,I'd like to travel along, but saying something is emphasized when there is simply a conclusion isn't exactly splitting hairs.
Mary and Martha did not get Jesus to raise Lazarus from the dead by their nagging. Jesus fully intended to raise him from the dead
It's apparent you just don't like this approach that caused the Lamb of God to weep.

"For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, ," (Hebrews 4:15)

Keep going
I am reminded dear friend of the imperative to reduce one, for the increasing of the other. For if we reduce speculations to “nothing”, we won’t have to concentrate on anything the life of Christ in us will fulfill.

“So Jesus replied, "Truly, truly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing by Himself, unless He sees the Father doing it.”
John 5:19

"My teaching is not My own," Jesus replied. "It comes from Him who sent Me.”

John 7:16

"For I did not speak on My own initiative, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment as to what to say and what to speak.”
John 12:49

I say that with some trepidation as we do have plenty to focus on that tips into opinion.

Prayer guided by the Word of God and led by the Spirit of God leads us forward.
One would think that would suffice, I have in times past thought they were segments of drudgery, a compilation of conflict with a certain pestering to never rise above the closet ceiling. How does one plant assertiveness through the knee, for the conflict that is present is worse for some than others in intercession. How does one look past these things?

Absolutely! We must! It remains an imperative agony for some if that is what some have to work with. Others don’t have such a burden, theirs is the press alone. An uninterrupted outpouring from the heart some of us only wish we could come to. Yes, structure helps in this, but you know the type, they are quite apt at taking needs to the Lord, speaking as the Master is estimating the statement, is itself an inspiration.

Press on!
