After all,he did offer to pay the legal fees for appointed Electors who changed their votes to change their votes..
Was there a crime committed?
If you don't think so,please explain why..
I kind of wonder if he would have offered the same to the Hillary defectors?

President -Elect Trump offered to pay the legal fees of anyone charged with the assault of a protester at his rallies. Oh wait! Maybe he really didn't mean that. Maybe it was just convenient campaign rhetoric like "Lock her up!"

Trump also said, "I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn't lose voters." If we are going to start charging people for their political rhetoric, then maybe Donald Trump should be charged with attempted murder.

He told them to vote their conscience, and if they were fined he would pay the fine.

Nothing to see here. No crime.

Even though i despise just about everything that Michael Moore is reported to stand for, this is not among them, and i see no crime here.

Every defendant in a criminal process is entitled to a defence. Somebody has to pay for it. i'd rather it be Moore than the tax payers of whatever jurisdiction the trial is held.

As for Moore being selective in which unfaithful electors he is supporting: This is still America, and it is still Moore's choice of how he will spend his money.

As for advocacy of a certain conduct, it is far less certain that being a faithless elector is a crime. Yes, some states have laws against it, but i know of no faithless elector who has been prosecuted.

If we take what Michael Moore said literally, then we also should take literally that Trump asked Russians to hack Clinton.

Which one it is, literally or not?

If we take his ACTUAL literal words, he said he would pay the fine, and not pay legal fees. A fine is not the same thing as legal fees.

The OP misquoted Moore, and never bothered to even post the exact quote. There was no intention here of getting to the truth. This is nothing more than a hit thread on Michael Moore.

I'm not talking about Trump..I'm talking about MM
Would do and could do are two entirely different things..
If I said that I COULD climb Mt.Everest does that mean that I will?
Now if I said that I WOULD,do it,that is a claim that I will..see the difference?

Michael Moore: I Will Pay Faithless Electors' State Fines

It is still essentially a bribe, which to my knowledge is a crime.

No, he is not.

I think it is ironic for a Trump supporter to criticize Michael Moore asking electors to vote their conscience and offering to pay their fine if they voted against Trump and yet apparently has no problem with Trump telling his supporters to beat up protesters and then offering to pay their legal fees or saying he could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and not lose any votes.
