How do pro-abortion Christians reconcile their views with pro-life scripture?

Its not a divine revelation, its an understanding, and others have, indeed, come to the same conclusion.
You tied "personhood" with cognitive development. This apparently is your justification for aborting unborn children. What you typed up there has absolutely positively nothing to do with that.

So let's try again. Why is it you think God's conception of life is related to cognitive development?

To repeat once more, nowhere does the Bible assert abortion is a sin.
Sola Scriptura is your limitation. Please don't try making it mine.

Hmm..Can we explore this? Do you believe it is wrong to kill an animal for any reason what so ever?

That becomes relevant when a human being is considered to be the same as an animal.

Like adding the word "alone" to Romans 3:28?

Is the word "alone" italicized to indicate that it is implied? Many versions of the bible have those implied words there to make it easier to understand. That's especially what the easier-to-read versions such as the Living Bible and NAS versions do.

I'm not sure why you would bother making any such distinction considering that you wrote...

When you start adding to scripture, then it becomes meaningless.
... which I assume you believe in. Isn't adding to Sacred Scripture bad inasmuch as it makes the text meaningless?

Ah. So if I'm following you on this, you're basically saying the first world, the people who are best equipped to deal with the world's environmental and pollution problems, are the ones who need to go so that the third worlders who do more than their share of polluting can continue to do so without any oversight?
No you are not following anything at all, so all 1st world people are environmentalists? They are the ones that pollutes the most.
Something tells me they won't find those arguments persuasive. Muslims and jews are typically the most pathologically anti-Christ people you could ever hope to find.
Why would any christians tell them anything? They should have their imams to break the news.
And what about letting the unborn children control their own bodies?
Uhmm, I think you just missed the elephant in the room, try to think about the topic.

They're also the only ones with any hope of improving the environment.

But that's of limited relevance anyway given the relatively low population levels of the first world. If all peoples living on the entire North American and European continents died tomorrow, it would barely make a drop in the bucket of global population.

So shouldn't your idea of population reduction begin inside that circle before anybody worries about the other areas of the world?

Why would any christians tell them anything? They should have their imams to break the news.
So the Muslims should tell the Muslims and the jews that God broke His covenant with them? Golly, how will the imams ever reach that realization?

Uhmm, I think you just missed the elephant in the room, try to think about the topic.
If you're talking about unborn and innocent human life, I think I understand quite well.

I never said ONLY the 1st worlds, and in India and China they are billions of people, it would greatly help to reduce their numbers.

Nor did I ever talk of killing unborn babies, but it should be a free choice to commit suicide, so I don't see how a baby can commit suicide freely.

You put lots of words in my mouth and jumps to farfetched conclusions.

Even so, reducing the population inside that circle seems like the far better starting point since (A) that would reduce the world population by about 50% (which is, I assume, your goal) and (B) it would eliminate or else greatly reduce current pollution levels. Seems like that's where you and your death squad probably need to start.

Nor did I ever talk of killing unborn babies, but it should be a free choice to commit suicide, so I don't see how a baby can commit suicide freely.
So people should be free to choose to commit murder. To your credit, that is consistent with your view expressed above about wiping out vast swaths of already-born people.

You put lots of words in my mouth and jumps to farfetched conclusions.
Merely asking questions.

How does committing suicide have anything to do with death squad?

If you think you can talk half the world's population into committing suicide, you're welcome to try.

Short of that, you'll need to send in lots of people with lots of guns. Good luck!

Adding implied words while making a distinction to clarify that they're added words is different from adding words and then trying to imply that they were part of the original text.

The "additions" I am referring to are clarifiers. They don't change the meaning of the text, and it is noted in the bible itself that those words are there to clarify what is being said.

I disagree, if only because the great majority of people reading it won't understand the significance of the italics and will take that altered passage at the same face value as everything that hasn't been altered. Scholars might understand what italicized text means but the other 99.99% of readers won't.

I'd say adding "alone" to that passage is a pretty significant change. It affects a passage about which there had been no real dispute for centuries (or more) and introduced disagreement where previously there had been none. It clarified nothing.

I don't know if I would agree with it being 99.99% by any means. Plenty of people other than scholars do bible study. Anyone with a desire to have even a basic understanding of their bible is going to find out why some of the words are italicized, and will look in the front of their bible to find out.

Perhaps not. The original language may have implied "alone" and putting it in their in an italicized word was the only way to convey it to the reader in english.

BTW, I changed my avatar as you requested.
