The violent jihadists are very brave and attack the unarmed and especially love to attack the unarmed women and children. we hear about this happening quite often in the Middle East, Africa and elsewhere.

Mohamed ok'd the murder of non-moslem children because 'they are of them'. We hear of this in Israel where rockets are lobbed towards schools, children are the victims quite often and ISIS is also aiming at children - torturing, raping, kidnapping, murdering.

It is reported on the authority of Sa'b b. Jaththama that the prophet of allah, when asked about the women and children of the polytheists being killed during the night raid, said: “They are from them.” (Sahih Muslim 4322, see also Bukhari 52:256)

(sahih means authentic and moslems usually deny stuff that they get cornered with so they will say that the verse(s) are not legitimate)

This does not justify the targeted killing of women and children per se, but it does prove that collateral damage is entirely acceptable if it accomplishes the military goal of spreading islamic rule. The koran, in verse 9:36, states that unbelievers should be fought "altogether" or "collectively."

Muhammad used a catapult against the city of Taif - a catapult kills indiscriminately. The only crime those citizens were guilty of was rejecting his claims of being a prophet and evicting him.

>Myth: Muhammad Never Killed Children

Islamic violence in Egypt has been going on for a while. The Muslim Brotherhood is one of the players.
Considering Egypt is 90% Muslim, it would seem obvious that most of the violence in the country would be done by Muslims.

Using that guideline, the majority of violence in the US is perpetrated by White Christians.

[Staff edit] A survey found that more than 7,100 Christians were killed in 2015 for "faith-related reasons," up 3,000 from the previous year, according to the group's analysis of media reports and other public information as well as external experts.

I just cannot ever get over the comments of 'persecution' against Christians....as if they are the ONLY group of people who are persecuted.

"A survey"? Of who? By whom? Where?

And most of it is what I like to call “armchair” persecution.

I theorise that since the Bible speaks about how the true believers will find themselves being persecuted, and that such persecution is a sign you’re on the right path, it pulls at the conscience of many overweight, under exercised middle class westerners that their lives are somewhat lacking in persecution, and so to cover this seeming gap in their spiritual lives, they’ll desperately take anything remotely misconstruable as persecution and wrap it around themselves like a big reassuring blanket.

…”unfounded internet rumour that one of the Columbine murderers asked someone if they were a Christian before he killed her? HE WAS PERSECUTING CHRISTIANS! Thank goodness, Christians are being persecuted, I am a Christian, therefore I am being persecuted, QED. I’m so glad I can sleep soundly in my warm queen size bed after eating twice my daily recommended caloric requirement and not feel guilty about the world’s poor or starving. What with me being PERSECUTED and all, I must be on the right track. I can’t wait for the “war on Christmas” to start up to make me feel even more persecuted and thereby justify my blatant crass consumerism!”

It's a very good guideline, if a small number of people do something, it's best to malign the whole group. If a Muslim person commits an act of terrorism, Islam is the problem. If a black person commits a crime, black people... I'm sorry, black culture is the problem. If a white person kills people in a church, white... Wait?! Ah, I know! That's the act of an individual, nothing else matters, don't talk about that person as a member of a larger group.

I have always believed, people who commit violent crimes are swayed heavily by the culture they grew up in, which has created desperate situations that allow people to justify these types of crimes.

Beyond the culture and environment one is exposed to, there are those who are psychologically compromised as well, regardless of the culture they grew up in, but these are the outliers.

Nations with lower violent crime, tend to have lower levels of poverty and folks who are in desperate situations.

There is no group in existence at any time or any place that is so morally upstanding that constant self-criticism and vigilance is not required.
It was not that long ago that it was the Muslim Brotherhood that were the moral and political leaders of Egypt. They were very much of the order of Islam that was for the "Jim Crow" laws of Christian dhimmitude, and even went as far to call for violence against Christians in response to their overthrow.
The present leader of Egypt is one of the few brave political souls who called for a reform of Islam to break a hold of Islamic "Jim Crow" on the Islamic religion. Unfortunately Sisi was pretty much dismissed as a usurper by the Obama administration, and is not much in the news any more. His vision of Islam is sidelined.

This was a senseless act of murder.

'senseless' to us, but not to moslems. They are taught that the most holiest form of jihad is to die while murdering non-moslems. That gets them on the fast path to Allah's 'heaven'. They don't have to spend time in the grave and they don't have to wonder if they will even be saved.

There is no guarantee of salvation in islam because allah makes some for hell, nor does it give them any ideas how many, or what, good deeds will ensure them its heaven.

That's not true.
