hey Doreen, you got another book lover here. :) I've read all the left behind books except book 2, but i bought the dramatic audio to compensate for it. Which one's your favourite? mine is "The Mark", um... probably coz i was reading it in a hurry and didn't have time to properly enjoy it, which makes it the best!

i also read lots of fantasy books.

I love to read just about any type of book but love to read prophecy ones the best.

glad I'm not the only book lover here - good to hear from you and hope to again.

I, too am a heavy duty reader also. I also read the "Left Behind" books, up to Tribulation Force then I stop. Now a days I read books in improving my Christian walk. Here are a few:

Prayer of Jabez by Bruce Wilkinson

Secrets of the Vine by Bruce Wilkinson

These books gave me a new perspective in how I should live my life; but of course the Bible is the ultimate book to read.

I've also read a book by Franklin Graham, The Name it's a great book, I recommend it to all.

I'm also a sci-fi buff also.

I'm a fantasy junky. LOTR and Dragonlance all the way!

I like books with stories. Mystery, sci-fi, cute little (no sex) romance, etc. I like the books that make you look into yourself, but I need a plt line along with it, lol.

by Robert Jordan, the pace of the series may go a bit slow but the plot keeps spinning out more subplots, and characterization is just..... fabulous! i love that series! (lots of good descriptions too)

it's about how a legend is coming to live, but there's more to it than that. There're different parties all tied up in the prophecy, yet each party seems to have different agendas... but in the prophecy they all have a common goal.... though whether they can carry it out with their differences remains to be seen....

i haven't read Dragonlace though, another series i would recommand is The Riftwar saga, first book "Magician" by Raymond E. Feist.

Oh, dude . . . those books are awesome!

I'm a Lord of the Rings freak, and I mean it . . . the books are so well written, I can't count how many times I've read them because each time is better than the last until I just get caught up reading and forget numbers . . . especially maths. I hate coordinate geometry.

I have heard about Dragonlance, but I don't really have time to be obsessed with two different authors. :D What is the general idea/theme?
