That God is always sovereign is an absolute. At the same time our sovereign God expects Christians to do their part in ensuring that liberty and justice prevail and that evildoers are brought to justice. A sovereign God can also terminate an evil person like Hillary Clinton today or tomorrow, just as He terminated Belshazzar.
In that night was Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans slain. And Darius the Median took the kingdom, being about threescore and two years old. (Daniel 5:30,31).

He can also terminate adulterers, those who steal (fraud), are profane, who bear false witness, and who falsely attest to being a Christian yet live in an ungodly manner.

I see that you recognized I described him. He said he could kill someone and his supporters would not care.
I believe that God is sovereign and is in control. But I also believe that the results of this presidency are not going to be as his followers want it to be. That God's plan here is not necessarily as some would think
It may be God's intent that this election is laying bare a group of Christians as they voted for a man who did not repent to God, worships money, stiffs people, lied continually, and was disrespectful to women (Access Hollywood), blacks, Mexicans, Muslims, and the military POWS, and so much more.

It may be that God is exposing hypocrites and slanderers who claim to be in Christ, but are deceived by the chief slanderer to speak evil of God's own choice.

Those who see God's choice as what he is are not deceived. Some recognize that God could have different reasons for wanting that person in the job. After all, there are leaders of Israel who were really bad and evil - but they were there because God allowed it. There was a purpose.
I am not implying those here are not in Christ (like you are implying of me). I am saying that it may be a big wake up call.

That logic implies that Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Hitler, Nero, Belshazzar, Mannasseh, etc., were given authority by God's will. Even if it's true, it does not imply that he will be a good leader. Honestly, I have been saying for a while that the fact that we were allowed to choose between two such wicked candidates suggests that our nation is being judged harshly by God. But, just as God commanded His people to respect the authority of Nebuchudnezzar, Nero, and other ungodly leaders, we are called to respect our next President. But, that does not change that he is a supremely evil man.

Lets not be unforgiving of other people's sins.
"Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us."
And let's let God be God, do not restrict Him in your heart regarding His power to bring about change.
He can also bring about repentance in any person's heart, God's arm is not shortened that it can not save even a Trump or a Clinton.
