• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

........

I just never knew a relationship with god was so one sided.

Like I advised you before and will do again and again. What god? Where is your god? That loveless monster you have been serving? He doesn't give one iota about you my dear surely you have understood that by now?

Get rid of that abomination in your life and then see if the God of The Bible loves you or not. As it is you are far better off with out that god you have been serving in your life, surely you have seen what a monstrous liar he is?

When the truth of His Love has finally touched you dear sister, than we can talk again, get rid of the abomination in your life and your desolation will certainly lift and turn into a spiritual paradise.

God is love - heed Him and His Words instead of that loveless monster in your heart spreading death and destruction.

I understand your disappointment and frustration, but I believe, giving up on God is never the best choice. Instead, we are to trust Him at all times (Psalm 62:8). Having said this, I want to share with you some information that might give you helpful ideas to better handle your situation. Be assured of my prayers that the Lord will lead you to the right employment opportunity at His perfect time.

Hmm, talons... Well nothing has happened..he hasn't ..done anything..he just let me slip through the cracks. He may have done it for you but idk about me. Though I will give church one last shot, and if things go well... Then it was me...i came back on my own. I didnt get a special dream, god didnt send anyone to speak to me, I didnt have any warm feelings...i just did it on my own.

I just never knew a relationship with god was so one sided.

There is nothing special about me. God didn't choose me because I was good, nobody is. Churches also are not necessarily the best places to find God. Sometimes churches teach Churchianity not Christianity. Probably more teach Churchianity than Christianity. Don't go for pretty places with pretty people in them, find a place where people wear their wounds on their outsides, and there you might find Jesus among them.

I think Jeshu has a point, what you are following may not be God, but I know for me I had to ram head first into my own interpretation of God several times before it would loosen it's grip on me. I have a quote that may help you see God's love:

"Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us." ~1 John 4:7-12

Peace

Well I tried to get my license and the tags were expired..i mean the insurance card was expired. It seems I'm just doomed to failure, no matter how hard I try to change things... This is my lot in life. I just dont understand why god hates me so much, I just can't fathom it.. It seems like hes distubred by any fleeting moment of happiness I may have and he has to destroy it quickly. Idk, I tried

FarSide, friend,

I totally understand how you feel, and the first thing I want you to know is that God has not given up on you. He will see you through this time, but experience that you will have to hang in their, even if it's a crawl, keep choosing to believe.

I've been through bankruptcy, lost my family, lost my health and have been betrayed by the people closest to me. I know what it feels like to think things will never change, but they did. Not because I'm some spiritual giant, but because I didn't know what else to do. I had a choice I could end it all, and I almost did. I had a plan to end my life, but I didn't want to do that. So I asked for help. I called a pastor I didn't tell him I had planned my end, but I told him I wanted to give up. He said one word, "Fight!" I didn't feel like fighting, but there was truth in that encouragement, and I knew it. And so do you, somewhere beneath your sorrow, you know there are better days coming and that you have to fight for them. You wouldn't have reached out here on the forum if you didn't know that. So FIGHT.

When we start believing the circumstances more than the truth of God's promises, we have fallen victim to lies. But we are not victims. We're God's kids and fight lie with the truth. And the truth is, "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers them from them all." And before the enemy starts in telling you you are not one of the righteous, remember your righteousness has little to do with you. If you've given your heart to Jesus, you are one of the righteous. His righteousness is ours when we belong to Him.

Start doing whatever you can to get the truth in front of you. Here's a place to start. This will explain to you a lot of what is going on with you, and also God's true heart for you: https://www.bing.com/videos/search?...60F122F734E72923070360F122F734E7292&FORM=VIRE
