My post was an attempt at humour in response to the phrasing "suicide by gun will not be tolerated by her administration".

It is certainly one way to dismiss the anti-gun lobby's argument that gun registration saves lives.[/QUOTE]
Just like the "pro-gun" folks complain about lack of research when they have supported Congressional opposition to allowing the CDC to actually do the type research to get the very data the pro-gun lobby say they want. So, your halo is definitely tarnished.

Yes, Hillary is anti-gun. Her speech record at the very minimum demonstrates that. She's said also that those who are on a don't fly list should qualify to be refused sale of a gun. Because if you can't fly you shouldn't be able to be armed.

The DFL however is not transparent. There is no public information as to the protocols involved in ascribing someone worthy of being forbidden access to a commercial airliner. Furthermore, it is so arbitrary a process that people who have the same middle initial as someone else on the list are able to be refused entry.And this after they've bought a ticket!

That obscured protocol system for the Don't Fly List is Hillary's end run around the second amendment. God help us if she gets the office. In so may ways we'll be sooooo done as a people.

This is the exact reason why I love the phenomenon of fact-checking. It puts pressure on politicians to be honest about the facts, or be publicly embarrassed.

Fact-checking is basically a pro-democracy movement.

I tired of debates a long time ago. When pundits would sit in a newsroom after a debate was over and tell viewers everything that was just said. Adding their own commentary.

Seriously, I loved the old show, Monty Python's Flying Circus. This season's back and forth campaigning between these last two candidates could have been written by Cleese himself.
