That is the interlinear as provided by the New American Standard version.

Here's the interlinear (from Bible Hub).
http://biblehub.com/interlinear/mark/16-18.htm

Apparently some of the Greek texts have it in and some leave it out..
In any event I can assure you I will not go around trying to pick up snakes "in my hands" unless, as I said before, it is absolutely required..... LOL.

Ah, you are using a very old text, I believe from 1904 (at least that's what the footer says). The NASB text is newer and more up-to-date.

As far as I'm concerned "newer and up to date" is a synonym for "less accurate and loaded with fallacies".....(just look at what is constantly coming across the "new and updated" technology called the "Internet") LOL....Older is usually more accurate and factual. BTW; I don't trust NASB any more than the New International Version, neither of them do I trust any farther than as I can spit.
I always use King James Version.....and since they used Greek texts from before 1609, and do NOT include the phrase "in their hands".... I will stick with them.
In fact I'm sorry I brought up a Greek text with additions . Anything added after 1700 AD is, IMHO, far too suspect to be completely reliable....especially when it comes to picking up snakes. ;))
