Remember, there's no problem in the world for which pizza is not the answer. Pizza brings people together and transforms enemies into friends. So on that note...

I find at times asking myself would Luther have left 21st Century Catholicism? and honestly I don't know the answer, however I suspect maybe not so much.
That doesn't describe Luther accurately. For one thing, he had already shown himself obedient to his religious order and his superiors. For another, he did NOT want to leave the Catholic Church but was essentially expelled. And he did show himself to have a high sense of responsibility to God and other mortals. Talk of "whims" and the like really misses the character of Martin Luther.I think he would have, some people just are not able to recognize their own limitations, who buck at any authority that is placed over them, who hate any restrictions on their whims
his list of complaints would have been different
but he would have been a force for destruction and sin no matter what age he was born in
I struggle with no meat on Fridays during Lent. It was eye-opening to realize how central meat is to my diet. I've figured out some workarounds to comply with the Friday fast from meat: bean burritos, different sandwiches and the obligatory cheese pizza.I know the feeling
I had over two years like that - wow returning to fasting was difficult - and I can still slip up
You do understand Orthodox -and Eastern Catholics - would tend to chuckle over this ...I struggle with no meat on Fridays during Lent. It was eye-opening to realize how central meat is to my diet. Lent is tough when you're a carnivore.
Why is that? You do understand Orthodox -and Eastern Catholics - would tend to chuckle over this ...
