There is one God (Ephesians 4:6, 1 Corinthians 8:6): the Father (1 Corinthians 8:6, James 3:9), the Son (John 8:58 w/Exodus 3:14, Hebrews 1:8, John 1:1, John 1:14), and the Holy Ghost (Acts 5:3-4)

There is one Lord (Ephesians 4:5, 1 Corinthians 8:6): the Father (Matthew 11:25, Luke 10:25), the Son (1 Corinthians 12:3, 1 Corinthians 8:6), and the Holy Ghost (2 Corinthians 3:17)

There is one Spirit (Ephesians 4:4): the Father (John 4:23-24), the Son (1 Corinthians 15:45 w/ Ephesians 4:10, Colossians 1:27), and the Holy Ghost (John 7:39).

They are distinct from each other (John 15:26, John 16:27-28, Hebrews 1:8-9, John 1:1, Psalm 110:1, Mark 12:36)

They are one (Deuteronomy 6:4, Mark 12:29, James 2:19, 1 John 5:7, 1 Corinthians 12:4-6).

I don't adhere to the Trinity, I adhere to Oneness... I believe that the fullness of the Godhead dwells in Jesus Christ. :)

"Discussions in all "Christians Only" forums must be in alignment with Nicene and Trinitarian beliefs. Non-Trinitarianism may only be discussed in the Christianity & World Religion forum and the Debate Non-Christian Religions forum. Other Christian non-Nicene topics may only be discussed in the Controversial Theology forum. The Controversial Theology forum is open to Christian members only (faith groups list)." - http://www.christianforums.com/threads/general-theology-statement-of-purpose.7780354/

Discussion by non-Trinitarians on the Trinity, or debating the topic as a non-Trinitarian in Christian parts of CF is against forum rules. This means that non-Trinitarian Christians have a difficult time sharing their views, and are essentially limited to doing so as though they were non-Christians. That is how CF works.

Similarly, my capacity to discuss or debate the doctrine is limited here. Even statements such as "I do not believe that God exists in three co-equal Persons" can get your posts edited or deleted by moderators if posted in Christian spaces. So be conscious of this as you post. For these reasons, I leave the topic be these days, and find ways to share other thoughts and hopefully edify. God bless you, in Christ, His Son and Word.

Personally, I do not believe that God is One Being in Three Persons, but explaining how or why this is what I believe in Christian discussion forums is basically impossible. So I leave the topic be these days, and find ways to share other thoughts and hopefully edify. God bless you, in Christ, His Son and Word.

I didn't mean to I just thought I could share that because I do consider myself a Christian... I never meant to debate.

I know that. But this is how CF rolls. If you can keep your thoughts careful and general, it'll be easier. God bless you, through His Holy Child, Iesu Christos.

You're right, it seems like everyone here is out to crucify us Oneness folk as if we are not Christian... It truly hurts...

Nobody wants to crucify you. There are certain boards limited to Christians who subscribe to a basic Nicene confession in order to avoid what would certainly be constant debates between Trinitarians and non-Trinitarians.

Certain boards are limited in who can participate--there are plenty of boards here where I can't participate. The same is true of everyone else on this site. It's by no means a perfect system, but it helps narrow the focus of discussions on certain boards which usually helps keep things more-or-less civil. At least compared to a lot of other discussion forums I've seen elsewhere on the internet.

I believe the Controversial Theology board is where you'd want to post concerning Oneness topics.

I believe that posts in the Controversial Theology Forum personally disowning or rejecting Trinitarianism can also be edited or deleted in line with Forum Rules. Non-Christian Religions is most often cited as the appropriate place to express one's personal disagreement with Trinitarians / Nicene doctrines, even apart from the Controversial Theology Forum.

My understanding is that, generally, only those who subscribe to theologies which do not accept the deity of Christ are considered "non-Christian" and thus unable to even post in Controversial Theology. I could be mistaken of course.

They are one (Deuteronomy 6:4, Mark 12:29, James 2:19, 1 John 5:7, 1 Corinthians 12:4-6).

In this I think it is good to notice that they are one, same way as disciples of Jesus are one with God and Jesus.

I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them through your name which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are.
John 17:11

that they may all be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you sent me.
John 17:21

Where does it say in Scripture that all the saved will speak in tongues? Hint: it doesn't. That particular belief is a creedal doctrine of the UPC. So in that case you are not going by God's Word, but by the curious beliefs of your denomination. Sorry 'bout dat.

Why do people keep lumping me in with the UPC???? >.< and where did I ever say tongues is required?! I am not in the UPCCCCCC!!!! I am just a Christian who just happens to believe in praying in tongues, but no I do not believe nor do I teach that it is required!
