I just wanted to write this... I can't even believe it. I've had battles with inappropriate contentography day and night. I would search the Lord in the secret, but I just didn't have victory over the sin that had me in bondage. I read the Word and I prayed and I fasted and I still didn't have a change, I didn't have a breakthrough, I knew I needed something more. For the past year, God awoke a desire in my heart to search Him with all of my heart and for over a year I've desired God to Baptize me in his Holy Spirit. I couldn't go a week without falling back again and again. I would listen preaching after preaching, I needed an answer. I'm a 16 year old who was fighting the struggle of inappropriate contentography for over 5 years already and needed victory. Even though I've almost lost all hope, God was faithful and He wasn't done with me. I went to a retreat this year and God really shook and transformed me from the inside out with Fire and Authority. There was an Altar call to be baptized in the Holy Spirit and God filled the whole place with his presence and the youth there were getting Baptized in the Holy Spirit and well I was baptized too! I felt like my hands were burning and my whole body was burning, but it wasn't agonizing, it was peaceful, but powerful. He told me that it wouldn't be me anymore, but His Spirit in me! And there was a powerful move of God that I've never seen before in my entire life that day and is still happening to this day! But it's been a month and a half that I haven't even had the desire to go back to the sin of inappropriate contentography! And I can, but I can't believe it! I've sometimes forgotten that I ever struggled with that sin! But I just want to encourage anyone, even as young as me, that struggled with that sin, that you need the power of the Holy Spirit to help you triumph over those desires! There is no other way than the empowerment of His Spirit! And after, the enemy will try to remind you and try to lead you back, but you will have power to say no!!! And if you don't know if you've been baptized, trust me, you haven't. You will know and other people will know. And I just wanted to put this here in this section of the forums for those who've lost faith in a Supernatural God and in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. It's still happening and trust me you can get it too!!! YOU CAN GET IT TOO!!! I've always used to believe that there was something wrong with me because I didn't get it for the longest time, I lost hope that it was even real or that I could ever get it. JUST FAST AND PRAY AND IT WILL COME SOON! Someone might even need to pray over you to receive it even if it takes a whole lot of prayer or it'll happen during prayer or worship. Just don't get discouraged! I can't stress it enough, you can get it too.
Oh PS: I wasn't baptized in water yet when I got the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. So don't get discouraged by anything!

Praise the Lord, praise His name for your breakthrough Abraham! Good word and testimony!! 16 years old? Sounds like you have the perseverance of a 30-yr old. But stay with it, I know you will. The world brings us subtle excess and doesn’t give a flip what the ramifications are, so long as their pockets are full.

But God does care as does Jesus, God’s son who also said in our quest, “dig deep” (Luke 6:48) to weather the storms.

Thanks for bringing this excellent report, and welcome to the forum! Hope to see more of your encouragement!

You are typical for young boys, who get hooked on inappropriate content at 10, so you were 1 year later than average, but you are still hooked on Satan's best way he can ruin your chance for a good Christian marriage sometime in your future.

You are in serious spiritual trouble young man. If you can be honest with your mom and dad now is the time to do so, You need real help to brake free of the hold Satan has on you. Don't kid your self, you are masturbating while looking at these phony pictures, Do you really think these are real? they are pictures doctored up to entice you into believing this is how you will be later on. This is all make believe! Think of those women who sold their soul to pose in front of a camera so someone can sell then to the rotten filthy magazine you are staring at to pretend you are with her. That's not Gods best for you son. You are hooked and you MUST stop this at once. No one says making yourself feel good is bad, but as you are doing it is SINFUL.

I encourage you to get help. I known men in their seventies hooked on inappropriate content, is that what you want to be? You are a slave to inappropriate content! Read 1 Corinthians chapters 5-7 and see what the Bible says. Please I beg you get help and NEVER look at Satan's trap ever again!

While we shouldn’t underestimate the power of the camera through the “lust of the eye” gate, nor should we underestimate the power of the Holy Spirit. I hope that isn’t what you are suggesting? We should instead remind everyone within the reading of this thread of two important requirements, a third, which this young man did testify a good profession,

1. “Having begun by the Spirit, ,” (Galatians 3:3)

We are furthermore confident he did include in his struggling search,

2. “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.” (James 5:16)

As far as fundamental approaches go, there are some things that are undeniable. Otherwise, thank you for the candor.

The very seriousness of inappropriate content is beyond most people understanding. almost 75% of men in your church view inappropriate content on a regular basis, what's even more alarming 60% of pastors do too.

The problem of being addicted to satin's best is huge, Men who view this are committing adultery according to Jesus. Many marriages are effected by this. The average young boy starts viewing inappropriate content at age 10.. The addiction is a spiritual problem that eats to the core of a Christian, fellowship is broken with Jesus and many NEVER even come close to leaving the habit. I do not know the stats on what percent of men in the sixties who have NEVER gotten free. I am aware of a well known pastor who had a man who was in his late seventies who was dying and confessed he was never able to free of inappropriate content.

The inappropriate content business is huge, world wide, BILLION yes billions of dollars are spent on this destructive addiction. inappropriate content ruins not only men but the women it holds by means so bad it is hard to even go into.

This young boy needs help, I hope its not too late for him. Help form the Holy Spirit and Christian people who know how to help. By the way now women are also being addicted to inappropriate content, but in some different ways.

I see you’re fairly versed in the predominant forms of this. It is good to be clarifying and in-step to advise. After all, it is common knowledge to welcome the thirsty by “all means”. I’ll bet you could also go on about how the Lord does interfere in the lives of men, still today.

We sometimes don’t listen to a given area adequately. The clinical response of “This young boy needs help, I hope its not too late for him.” isn’t exactly complementing to the power and the handlers who saw and ministered to him.

May I ask how you are so certain God didn’t do the ultimate transformation? While you may be giving signals of doubt as to what may have occurred, why fault something so pre-maturely? Not to mention sowing the seeds of an impaired ministry.

It wasn’t he who yet made the newcomer’s typical mistake of “sinless” in Christ, instead, correctly conveyed the power of the sinful impulse had lost its hold, praise God.

I happen to applaud the times when a soul chooses to be with himself and God only. It is good to bring into view your points to also weigh, but I’m going to step out and say beyond initial corrections, about a third of the time (and that is if it’s convenient), it is best to confirm no-longer with “flesh and blood” (Galatians 1:16).

There is positively no shortage of bad advice from every direction today. As I said to your later contrasting remark, he chose the better place to start, and it looks as though God still answers an outlook of faith. that should also suffice to which path he thinks best at this stage and whether or not I am giving inferior advice.

Thank You! God is good and I felt led to post this because I know that many who are like my old self are in dire need of an answer and change. And that God still changes people today in the midst of all the chaos going on in the world today and that there is power in Jesus name and in the Holy Spirit to let us be a true light in the world!

Jesus 'breaks the power of cancelled sin. He sets the prisoner free. His Blood can make the foulest clean. His blood avails for me' (Hymn). Through the Word of God and the Blood of our LORD Jesus Christ and through power of the Holy Spirit we overcome! ThankYou LORD!
