I found every relevant verse and a few others in the NT where 'call' is used regarding His calling of us who believe which actually has saved us. So then this calling accomplished His purpose for believers.
Do you think all people are called or do these scriptures teach only some are called?
Many of these verses are concentrated in the apostolic writings to the various churches, which makes sense seeing the churches are made up of saved persons.

They are all clear to me, but several stand out especially clearly to be understood, like this one.
Hebrews 9:15
And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

This defines that those who are called, are those who do receive eternal salvation, an inheritance from God.

Mark 3:13
[ The Twelve Apostles ] And He went up on the mountain and called to Him those He Himself wanted. And they came to Him.
John 10:3
To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
Acts 2:21
And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.’
Acts 2:39
For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”
Acts 11:9
But the voice answered me again from heaven, ‘What God has cleansed you must not call common.’
Acts 13:2
As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”
Acts 15:17
So that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord, Even all the Gentiles who are called by My name, Says the Lord who does all these things.’
Romans 1:1
[ Greeting ] Paul, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God
Romans 1:6
among whom you also are the called of Jesus Christ;
Romans 1:7
To all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

(as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
Romans 9:7
nor are they all children (of God) because they are the seed of Abraham; but, “In Isaac your seed shall be called.”, that is called of God according to His promise, meaning they will be of those saved since they are of God's family having the faith of Abraham, by design of God they're what they are.
Romans 9:11
(for the children not yet being born, nor having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works but of Him who calls),
Romans 9:24
even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
Romans 9:25
As He says also in Hosea: “I will call them My people, who were not My people, And her beloved, who was not beloved.”
Romans 9:26

Now you say churches are made up of saved persons. You can't even make up your mind, sdowney.

You tell me saved and unsaved make up the church, now you do a 360.

If Hebrews 3 is talking about false brethren when brethren is used, then you must be consistent with your beliefs, and not change like wind.

A differentiation is made between the gospel call and an effectual call.

Matthew 20:16New King James Version (NKJV)
16 So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few chosen.”

Adjective Strong's Number: g2822 Greek: kletos

Call, Called, Calling:

"called, invited," is used,
(a) "of the call of the Gospel," Mat 20:16; 22:14, not there "an effectual call," as in the Epistles, Rom 1:1, 6, 7; 8:28; 1Cr 1:2, 24; Jud 1:1; Rev 17:14; in Rom 1:7; 1Cr 1:2 the meaning is "saints by calling;"

So you make up your own meaning of a word? Nothing is said of an effectual call. Yes, the word is invited, as we see in Romans 8:30

Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called (invited): and whom he called (invited), them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Any invitation can be rejected. And, if invited, one must freely choose to come, and 'dress' appropriately.

Matthew 22
2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,
3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.
4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.
5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:
6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.
7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.
8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden (called) were not worthy.
9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.
10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.
11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:
12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

Even if some were predestined and called, they can choose not to come, even make light of the calling. In that case, they (who are called) are not worthy.

Then AS MANY AS CAN FOUND are called. Since Jesus came to seek and to save the lost, this calling is every lost man, woman, and child. But they who are invited must have a wedding garment, or they will be bound hand and foot and cast into outer darkness (which ISN'T the darkness outside of a brightly lit wedding hall).

What is the wedding garment? We read this in Revelation 3 -
4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

The wedding garment is the white raiment of those who overcome. To defile a garment is to pollute, stain, contaminate, and defile it. Strong's says this -
  1. used in NT of those who have not kept themselves pure from the defilements of sin, who have soiled themselves by fornication and adultery
Only those who do not defile their garment will not be blotted out of the book of life, nor, cast into outer darkness.

Please, do not come up with your own words (effectual calling) to add to the Bible. Let the Bible say what it says.

I agree, call has various meanings.
Most of the verses though point to the effectual call of those God has saved.
God does not call everyone in that way or all would be saved.

All those who God predestined are all going to be glorified.
Because the LORD has spoken that in His word.
Romans 11:29
For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.

Meaning without repentance, meaning unchangeable, God is not changing His mind about what He did long long long ago at the beginning, for it also says, all His works were finished from the foundation of the world. So it is true about our calling and glorification.

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

Hebrews 4:3-5New King James Version (NKJV)
3 For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said:

“So I swore in My wrath,
‘They shall not enter My rest,’”

although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. 4 For He has spoken in a certain place of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all His works”; 5 and again in this place: “They shall not enter My rest.”

Likely many people have not considered that God rested from ALL His works at the foundation of the world, that also included the work of salvation, for Jesus is the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. That would be before the fall mind you!
And so it is true about us being foreknown that we are then predestined for salvation and not destruction.

I will add that salvation is a finished work from the beginning, and to him who has will more be given as in rewards, and from him who has not, even that which he has will be taken away and given to him that has.

It sounds to me that a "calling" is an invitation that we can choose to except or reject.

All are called, but not all respond to the call.
Only those God has regenerated respond to the call, although anyone could.
But since unbelievers's minds are blinded by Satan, they do not respond to God.

If anyone is a robot, it is all the unbelievers. When Christ told us the Son will make you free, then before this you were a robotic slave of Satan and sin, kinda like the Borg on Star-Trek.

Nothing but calvinistic gobbly-gook here.

2 Corinthians 4, you do not believe.

3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them

If your mind is blinded by Satan, you are perishing, you are dying.
If you do not believe, then you are blinded by Satan.
If you are blinded in your mind by Satan, then you do not believe in Christ.

A blind person does not know which way He is going, when blind men lead the blind, both fall into hell.

Back to being called, for those whom He saved, God has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
If God did not call you, then you remain in the darkness.
Jesus is the light of the world, however unbelievers minds blinded by Satan do not recognize Christ as the light of the world.
Those who are of the darkness do not come into the light on their own.
If your an unbeliever in Christ, then the darkness is within you and your eye is EVIL, and that darkness runs deep, it permeates their entire being. Unbelievers who are evil, shrink back from the light of Christ, they do that because their deeds are evil.
Bad trees bear bad fruit.

You are assuming no human choice here. People are blind to the truth because they choose to be blind to it. Have you ever tried to talk to someone and they stuck their fingers in their ears and started yelling at the top of their lungs? It is not that they can't hear, rather they choose not to. Same goes here (if you were to choose to accept it). People can choose not to see what they don't want to see. It is not that they have no choice, rather they have made their choice.

John 3
31 He (Christ) that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is of the earth, and of the earth he speaketh: he (Christ) that cometh from heaven is above all.

32 What he (Christ) hath seen and heard, of that he (Christ) beareth witness; and no man receiveth his(Christ's) witness.

33 He (the elect person) that hath received his (Christ's) witness hath set his(the elect person's) seal to this, that God is true

No man receives Christ's witness as the truth, v32, unless he is an elect person, v33.

In that He, the elect person, HAS received the testimony of Christ and declares it true is in the past (hast received) , signifying the elect person has the truth inside of Him.

Christ clearly says NO MAN RECEIVES HIS TESTIMONY.
No one simply believes Christ's word. they must have that word implanted inside of them by God.
Believers are planted as the good seed by the Son of Man.

Matthew 13:24-25American Standard Version (ASV)
24 Another parable set he before them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man that sowed good seed in his field: 25 but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares also among the wheat, and went away.

Same goes here (if you were to choose to accept it). People can choose not to see what they don't want to see. It is not that they have no choice, rather they have made their choice.

You teach only from a natural earthly POV, when everything has a spiritual cause and effect.
Clearly the Word says differently. I wonder why you do not believe what scripture says.

Oh, I believe scripture, just not the calvinist philosophical interpretation of scripture. calvinism starts with an extra-biblical philosophical foundation, and uses this "lens" to interpret scripture. Your foundational premise is that man can not choose between good and evil. From that calvinists have built an entire interpretational system. The foundations of calvinism are not biblical; they are from a segment of human philosophy which exalts determinism. For calvinists, the only way God can be God is for God to control all things. So you quote verses which speak of God's involvement, but you ignore other passages which speak of man's response and ability to respond. Both parties are involved.

So, let me ask you a question. What is your understanding of the Parable of the Vineyard in Is. 5? Read all of the first 5 chapters of Isaiah which lead up to that parable. Why did God not get what He wanted? He asked the rhetorical question of what more could He have done? If you are right, then God got exactly what He wanted. So I believe calvinism has a delimma: Was God lying when He said He should have gotten what He wanted, or was He lying about wanting it? Similar questions/statement are made in the New Testament. I am sure you have seen these, so why do you not accept them? It is because of your philosophical bias which exalts determinism. Gee, I wish you guys could take those blinders off.
