Thank you. Matthew 6:4 is the reason why we know that God detests those who seek after a sign. It is by faith we are saved by grace.
No I understand just how sacred that is to all of you .
I mean like if someone had a vision or even a dream and believed it was from God himself.
I would never laugh at anything like that .
James 1:5. If any of you lack wisdom let him ask of God that give th to all men liberally and upbraidth not and it shall be given him.
Why are you posting here?
Part of my relearning .
One thing Mormonism has done for me being my wife is what they call a convert is for me to explore Mormonism . ( then other religions and beliefs )
So I leaned a bunch of stuff very fast and while doing so also learned that what I believed need to be reexamined .
Not that my beliefs had not changed over the years but since learning that going by the Greek some of what I believed was not as correct as I thought it was.
Thank you for your answer. I think learning what people consider truth and what they think about God is very interesting.
It refers to asking God for truth
How can I add something to your post? I see my answer in there but I didn't put it there. But of purse you think the worse right off the bat.You added that last sentence to my post. That is dishonest and not very Godly.
Mormons talk about us and if Jesus is reflected in our posts, but come on let's not lie.

I understand, but I was talking about the resurrection in light of Mormon doctrine.
John 17:12
While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
John 6:70
Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?
Perdition
Destruction.
Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, that ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of PERDITION. ( 2 Thessalonians 1:1 Luke 2:1-3 )
Mormon theology:
According to LDS Church theology, there are two classes of persons who will become sons of perdition: The pre-mortal spirit followers of Satan. It is taught that, in the pre-mortal life, they chose to follow a plan proposed by Satan, rather than that presented by God the Father and Jesus.
