I know how that goes :D

That's a common error I guess, ending in a preposition - I never say "where I'm at" or something. But I suppose I'm guilty of saying "in" at the end...

/me is horrified at the English major

/me can't imagine LIKING diagraming sentences ;)

/me wonders if it's diagramming... he doesn't think so because the accent is on the first syllable.... at least, he thinks so - di'agram...

/me thinks it's a world like travel? :p

I really haven't run into those crazy english and anthropology classes yet, but in every science-oriented class I have taken, evolution is treated as a scientifically-proven fact.  There seems to be a great emphasis, in psychology classes, of how our biology determines our behavior and how we don't really have free will.  Of course, my biology classes are the same.  Now I'm really looking forward to my electives!  ;)

i am taking a class right now called ethnic diversity. the professor is part of the Onieda tribe. his creation story is that mother earth gave birth to twins, and the right twin created everything good and beautiful on the earth, and the left twin created everything bad.. ex: right twin creates rose, left twin creates thorn on rose. anyhow, we're reading this book right now called "conversations with God, II." I know it's demonic, so i stopped reading it. however, my professor insists that everything should be guilt free, and that sex and selfishness is always ok.
it's been an interesting semester

Conversations with God.... it seems we have a book that is similar to that, but it's like a little kid's devotional book, not demonic. Maybe the title is slightly different. Or is it hte "II" part?

/me is confused :D

I've had my share of college-life and I agree with many of the comments spoken here. Fortunately I live in Texas, in a region where there are conservatives in schools who don't press on to liberal views to the extreme(of course that may change in the future). The way I see it, what I take in at college is that I sort it all out, what stuff is relevant to me, what's not, and what needed for a final . But when you run into a extreme liberal who dares to bash the Bible, I hope the Holy Spirit would convict me to do something about it. It's very easy to let comments like these slide when they take place, but usually I'm too tired to even answer about it.

Liberal by definition doesn't necesarily mean anti-Christian, just like conservative or even fundamentalist doesn't mean Christian. It's all your interpretation. Realistically, it's good to have those around you to question your beliefs and convictions to keep you remembering why you think the way you think in the first place. I have friends who are atheists and we've basically agreed to disagree, and we still get along very well. Keeping the dialogue going is the key, but also remaining firm in your own beliefs.
