• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

I found out I'm pregnant a little while ago and I'm now about six weeks along. It's really scary because I've had spotting and cramping and now I'm having a weird vary mild stabbing pain in my abdomen about belly button area. I have insurance but I haven't met the deductible yet and I can't afford to run. To the doctor every week but I'm also have yellow discharge often sometimes tinged with pink. They did an ultrasound last week and it was intrauterine by I'm worried I could have a yeast infection. I don't want it to hurt he baby but I'm afraid it will cost to much to see the ob. Is there another way to treat it? Please pray for us.

Yeast infection discharge is not usually yellow. The yellow appearance can be because of blood mixed with discharge or a bacterial infection. I have heard of some women spotting or menstruating during pregnancy, but I believe it is rare.

I think you should at least call your dr and see if they think it is urgent.

As JAM2b said, I think it would be a good idea to ask your doctor. My sister, who is a pregnant nurse, thinks you might have an infection (Trichomonas, Chlamydia, or Gonorrhea, etc). It would be relatively cheap to treat (compared to surgery).

You have our support in prayers!

I think it's quite normal. Anyway, it's better to consult the doctor in order to calm yourself down. I don't know a lot about pregnancy, but I'm planning to become a mother and reading a lot of articles about pregnancy. Maybe it will be helpful for you too.
