Again:

Ezekiel. 28:13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

You're the one making an issue about these stones, which you said were 'of sedimentary origin;' which, of course, is just plain wrong.

Those stones that Lucifer had were created ex nihilo, and didn't go through any sedimentary or mineralization processes whatsoever.

Angels were created before the earth was, since Job says they shouted for joy at its creation.

Job 38:6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
Job 38:7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
Nope. It just shows that they were there before the universe was created. It says nothing about angles being created. And lets not forget the "let us create". And where was God before the universe was created? Gen: 1:1 In the beginning God created the "heaven" and the "earth".

Try not talking for awhile and see how wrong you are.

Language is beauty.

And you honestly think Heaven has nothing better? Stop limiting yourself to the world of flesh, AV.

Song of Solomon 1:14 O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely.

Great words from a mere mortal... again, stop thinking small, AV.

Yes, but I still disagree. Nevertheless, God did not create everything according to Gen 1:26.
Psalm 138:1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights.
2 Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.
3 Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.
4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.
5 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.

Nehemiah 9:6 Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.

I guess Nehemiah didn't read Genesis 1:26.

OP QUOTE "AV1611VET, post: 69966447, member: 152669" This thread stems from a conversation I just had with RickG.

I shall try to be as concise as I can with my questions, and all I ask in reply is for honest answers.

Question: In your opinion, are there some global flood believers out there who believe the earth was one giant landmass in Noah's time?

Just YES or NO please? QUOTE

Did you find out ? (all I read was the OP, and only replied because you did say you wanted "honest answers". ) Now, in the last 15 pages of answers, did you get any honest answers ? Any just Yes or No ?

But the claim that Noah came from New Jersey is AV's claim. If anything else, it's people who should be looking for honest answers from him, not the other way around.
Although I will admit that they were honest answers. They weren't particular good answers, but they were honest.

Thank you I reckon.
There's so many false and spurious and false and long standing teachers and stories "out there" tempting everyone and causing many many many souls to fall or be confused,
and few true teachers, if any.(none I know of in the public eye).....(subject of course to (further) testing and revealing, perhaps there is one ? )

And what does the very next verse say?
The bible is full of contradictions, isn't it?

"And God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. "

He him, male and female. Grammar problem?

Honestly AV, I think the biggest problem with the interpretation of any part of the bible is "context". Context changes with each generation. Here are some examples:

Nice - silly, foolish, simple
Awful - awful things used to be “worthy of awe” for a variety of reasons, which is how we get expressions like “the awful majesty of God.”
Bad - That's bad (good)
Gay - I guess everyone in the 1890's were......, well, you get the idea.
Sweet - Good
etc., etc., etc........
