You are reading your doctrine into scripture when it isn't there. The context of the passages I gave you do not indicate a defeated enemy king. They indicate a dead person. Re-read Isaiah 66:24.
Does it indicate a living person who has been defeated? No, it indicates dead people who have been slain.

When I said the doctrine of eternal conscious torment is the infernal doctrine, I meant that is the doctrine of the infernal world, the underworld. The Bible says that the wicked will be destroyed, the wicked will perish, the wicked will be no more, they will be burnt to ash, etc. I believe that the wicked will be destroyed precisely because the Bible specifically says that the wicked will be destroyed.

Physical form or the lack of does not affect existence or non-existence.

Spirits can be created, and they can be destroyed (uncreated).

Nothing complex about that.

Don't need one. Something created can be destroyed.

I don't desire that. That is what scripture describes.

How exactly are our spirits created?

When Jesus returns, He will throw the beast and the false prophet alive into the Lake of Fire.

Revelation 19:20 (NKJV)
20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.

The devil, or Satan, is meanwhile shut up for a thousand years.

Revelation 20:1–3 (NKJV)
20 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; 3 and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.

When the thousand years are ended, he will be released for a little while, and he will deceive the nations, inspiring a rebellion. Afterwards...

Revelation 20:10 (NKJV)
10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

The beast and the false prophet will have already been in the Lake of Fire for more than 1,000 years when the devil goes there, yet it is where they are (present tense). If they did not exist (if they had been burned up), it would make more sense for them to be referred to in the past tense ("were"). Now, since the beast and the false prophet have not burned up after 1,000 years, how long would they have to wait until they cease to exist?

They will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Since Sheol is a place of torture for the wicked, how much more will the Lake of Fire be (after the judgment)?
It's not and neither will the Lake of Fire be a place of torture.

I did explain non existence. It means to not exist.
I'm sure you know what this means. If you burn your house down, it no longer exists.
You are going to have to tell me where the Bible says that the spirits of the wicked will continue to exist forever. I've never seen that in the Bible, and I just believe what the Bible says.

it is the fullness of the heart that comes forth from the mouth .
very telling .
I was merely quoting what the Psalm 92:6-7 says about a person who denies that the wicked will be destroyed. Please don't take offense. I don't think that you are stupid or foolish. I think that you can figure that the wicked will be destroyed on the day of judgment. I pray that God will open the eyes and soften the hearts of those who do not believe that the wicked will be destroyed.

The posts in the thread are looking more and more like attacks on the persons rather than the positions expressed.
I agree. Can we all agree to have a civil conversation about what the Bible actually says.
I see that the Conditionalists have been trying hard to keep the conversation civil.
Can the Traditionalists improve their conduct?

Thanks, I see you corrected the issue (actually a non-issue) before I got to it.
