I wait with great anticipation for the time the Lord promises to bless His people. Ezekiel 34:11-31, Amos 9:13-15, plus....

If you truly love the lord Jesus then you will wait for him to fulfill the prophecies conserning Israel ..the call for Israel is to wait on him to return and do not accept another who comes in his own name

Do you think the Millennium age, Revelation 20:1-10, will be led by a false King? If so where do you get that?

No of course not ...Jesus is the true king of Israel ...when Jesus returns to establish the millennium unto God it will be a glorious reign ..

But I believe before that day comes Israel will have fallen away from the new covenant by returning to the law ...having mixed law and grace ... Which has leavened the lump ... For Israel to be saved again they must repent and return to become unleaven bread again ...but I think fallen Israel who have embraced Judaism to some degree will eventually submit to the coming false messianic age...why do I think they will fall away from the faith to eventually accept rabbinic Judaism? Because the little leaven they have embraced will eventually leaven the entire lump... What little faith they had in believing yeshua was messiah will eventually die when they behold the false messianic age in all its glory ...

What is the false messianic age?...it is the doctrine of rabbinic Judaism which will produce their version of the messianic age .... It will be anti Jesus or anti yeshua or anti Christ ..if you know a little about that doctrine , it is dangerous for those who believe Jesus or yeshua is the true messiah

The false messianic age to come will be rabbinic Judaism Imo... The tribe of Judah will put a son of David on the throne ... A man ...who will rule as the anointed one promised to the Jews ... He is not Jesus .. He is another son of David that they believe to be the true messiah.. Why? Because he will fulfill thier version of the messianic prophecies...I believe this false messianic age that rabbinic Judaism will produced is mystery Babylon yet to come...

You haven't seen the prophesies regarding the inhabitants of the present State of Israel. Here's a few: Jeremiah 12:14, Ezekiel 21:1-7, Isaiah 3:1-26, Zechariah 13:7-9 and Ezekiel 16:63 says the surviving Jews will be so ashamed and humiliated, they will never open their mouth again!

Yes ..and in the end when Jesus returns , then will Jews and Gentiles submit to the millennium.... But before this day comes another will rule on the throne of David who was not sent by God

Your theory is wrong and when all the true believing Christians settle into their heritage of all the holy Land, they will elect their own leaders. Jeremiah 30:21, Hosea 1:11, leaders and teachers after the Lord's heart Jeremiah 3:15

I guess we will have to wait and see who comes first to rule in Jerusalem... Jesus ? Or another who comes in his own name..

And I'm not talking about a false Jesus coming first ... That's a possibility too.. Some dude claiming to be Jesus in the flesh ...if a false Jesus comes first he will be destroyed by rabbinic Judaism...

Let me ask you this Keras .. Do you truly love the lord Jesus ?... Well if you do then what if Jesus tells you to repent from serving the 10 commandments and accept his righteousness for your salvation ?....and he will clothe you in his righteousness as a gift ... Will you accept? Or will you deny Jesus and say "no thanks I will serve the law for myself to obtain my righteousness"?

DFW, you have some very peculiar notions. And you don't seem to address the scriptures I post, I notice you didn't post any.
Asking questions like you do above, is inappropriate at best and unacceptable to someone you know very little about.

I am happy to answer your questions on prophecy, that is what this forum is about, not an interrogation about faith.

I'm sorry Keras I meant no disrespect ...

I will look back and see which scriptures you post that I did not address...

Which scriptures you posted would you like me to address?

You have been deceived to think that day of worship and rest has to be on Saturday.

You didn't read what I wrote.

Gentile Christians are not required to keep the Sabbath; see Acts 15.

However, the Sabbath has always been Saturday.

Sunday is "The Lord's Day"; it is not the Sabbath.

The Lord's Day is the day that Christians traditionally celebrated the resurrection.

The Lord's Day is not a day of rest like the Sabbath.

The Lord's Day is not a day of rest like the Sabbath.
But it is and most Christians treat it that way.
How are you sure that the 7th day has been kept exactly since Moses came down from the mountain?
But don't reply to that question and you are right, we aren't required to keep it anyway. Colossians 2:16-17

DFW, I note you are posting on the 'Do you have a date' thread. Perhaps you could comment on my 'God's 7000 year Plan' thread.

But it is and most Christians treat it that way.

Not really. Many Christians work on Sunday.

Do you cook on Sunday? Do you buy gas on Sunday? Do you go grocery shopping on Sunday? Do you do yard work? Do you watch ungodly programming on TV?

If Sunday was "the Sabbath" as you suggest then all of those things would be breaking it.

Sunday is The Lords Day. It is the day we celebrate the resurrection. It is not the Sabbath.

The Sabbath has always been the seventh day of the week which is Saturday.

The Jews have been keeping Saturday as the seventh day Sabbath for centuries.

Saturday has always been the seventh day of the week.

Back to the OP:
Isaiah 57:1-2 The righteous perish and no one is concerned, those loyal to their faith are persecuted; they achieve peace at last on their deathbed.

Isaiah 57:3-11 Come near, you children of sin; spawn of a lie. You practice idolatry, desert your Maker and make bargains with men. You don’t think that your plight is desperate, because now, you have renewed vigour, you do not worry about your future. As the Lord kept silent and looked away, so you don’t fear Him, don’t remember Him or give Him a thought.

Isaiah 57:12-15 Now I shall expose your conduct, that what you think is right. Your idols will not help you; when disaster comes, your strength will vanish.
But he who puts his trust in Me will possess the Land and inherit My holy Place. Then the Lord will say: Prepare the way for My people, let them come to the Place of My dwelling. I will revive the spirit of the humble and the courage of the disheartened.

Isaiah 57:16-19 I shall not always be accusing, I shall not keep My wrath forever, or else the spirit of mankind would fail because of Me. For a short time, I was angry with My people, I withdrew My favour from Israel because of their sins. Despite their conduct, I will heal them and give them relief and comfort. Those who mourn for Israel will then praise Me, as I heal and save them. There will be peace for all, both far and near. Reference: REB, NIV, KJV. Some verses abridged.

‘the righteous perish’ - the persecution of Christians now and throughout the ages. Matthew 23:35, Revelation 6:9-11

‘you practice idolatry - The apostate and atheistic peoples of today have no idea that their judgement is coming. Ezekiel 20:39, Romans 2:9-11

‘renewed strength’- The descendants of Jacob today, in the Western nations, have become numerous, rich and powerful, so most no longer ‘give the Lord a thought’.

when disaster comes, your strength will vanish’ - the Lords Day of vengeance and wrath. Isaiah 17:4-6 The military powers of the world will be destroyed or neutralized by this judgement against the Lord’s enemies, which will ‘prepare the way’, for the return to the Land of My people. Jeremiah 31:21, Isaiah 43:5-7, Ezekiel 20:34

The punishment and exile of Israel and Judah is for a decreed time; ‘a short time’, to the Lord. Now, as that term of exile nears completion, we look forward to ‘relief and comfort’ and ‘peace for all’, in the new country of Beulah. Isaiah 62:1-5, Ezekiel 37:26

Jeremiah 30:23-24 See what a scorching wind has gone out from the Lord, a sweeping whirlwind, coming down onto the heads of the wicked. The Lords anger will not be turned aside, it will accomplish His purposes. In days to come, you will understand. [This is the Lords Day of vengeance and wrath, the next prophesied event, the Sixth Seal of Revelation 6:12-17]
Jeremiah 31:1-6 At that time, I shall be the God of all the families of Israel and they will be My people, a people that have escaped the sword and found favour in the wilderness. From afar God has appeared to Israel. He loves and cares for them and will build them up again. Once again, they will be happy and the Land will be fruitful. They will worship God in Jerusalem. Ezekiel 20:34-36
[The great story of the redemption of all Israel. God’s people will live in the new country of Beulah, Isaiah 62:1-5 in peace and prosperity. They will build the 3rd Temple and worship as in ancient days. Zechariah 6:15, Ezekiel 40 to 48]

Jeremiah 31:7-9 The Lord says: be joyful for Jacobs sake, sing praises and say- God has saved His people, He has preserved a remnant of Israel. See how He brings them from all parts of the earth, among them the blind and the lame, women and children. A vast company, they come with weeping and prayer, God will comfort and escort them. He will lead them by streams of water, on smooth paths, for He is the Father to Israel and Ephraim is His eldest son. Isaiah 11:11-13, Isaiah 62:10-12
[Israel and Judah, scattered around the world. Their remnant-“a vast company”. So, if the remnant could be several million, then it must be that the descendants of Jacob are now 100s of millions. Zechariah 8:4-13, Isaiah 49:19-20]

Jeremiah 31:10-14 Listen to the Word of the Lord, you nations, make it known to people far away. He who scattered Israel, will gather them again and will watch over them as a shepherd watches over his flock. For God has redeemed Jacob [the 12 tribes] and delivered them from their enemies. His righteous people will come with great joy into a Land of plenty and peace. Ezekiel 36:8-12, Amos 9:14-15,

[The Israelites enemies will be defeated, then they will be gathered and settled into Greater Israel, all that area promised to Abraham, so long ago. Ezekiel 47:13-23]

Jeremiah 31:15-20 Rachel weeps for her children. [Rachel is the mother of Jacob/Israel] Shed no more tears, for they will leave the nations and return to their own Land. God has disciplined Ephraim, like an unruly bull calf. After Ephraim strayed, he repented and now in shame and remorse, reproaches himself for the sins of his youth. God says: Ephraim is still My dear son, in whom I delight, I still remember him and have compassion for him. Hosea 11:8-9
[Bull in Hebrew= aegel, became Angle, then Anglo-Saxon. Saxon= Isaac’s sons. Ephraim, the British peoples, ( Hebrew – Brit-ish means Covenant people) was the leader of the 10 tribes finally exiled in 718 BCE.]

Jeremiah 31:21-22 Set up signs to mark your way, the path for your return. Come back virgin Israel to your towns. How long will you wander, My wayward child? Isaiah 63:17-19 This will happen: a woman will protect a man.

Jeremiah 31:23-25 The Lord says: When I bring My people back from exile, they will live in all the Land and be satisfied. Once more will these words be heard in the Land; God bless you, the home of righteousness, the holy mountain. Ezekiel 39:27
[‘the Holy mountain’ –the Temple mount. The 3rd Temple will be built and the ordinances reinstated, until the Return of Jesus. 2 Thessalonians 2:4, Revelation 11:1-2]

Jeremiah 31:26-28 The days are coming, says the Lord, when I will plant Israel and Judah then increase their people and livestock. In the past My intent was to uproot and inflict disaster upon them, now I shall watch over them, to build and plant. Micah 7:11-12
[The sins of the forefathers are expiated by the Israelites long exile. Isaiah 27:7-9]

Jeremiah 31:29-30 It will no longer be said that children will suffer for their parents sins. Only those who sin will be punished for it. Ezekiel 18:20

Jeremiah 31:31-34 The days are coming when I shall establish a new covenant with Israel and Judah. It will not be like the one that I made with their forefathers, when I took them out of Egypt, that covenant they broke, though I was patient with them. This will be the new Covenant that I will make with the whole House of Israel, in the latter days; I shall set My Law within them, in their hearts, all of them will know and obey Me. I will forgive and forget their wrongdoing. Ezekiel 37:26

Jeremiah 31:35-37 The Lord says: As the sun and stars are set in their courses, as the wind and the sea roars- only if this fixed order changes, then, no more could Israel ever cease to be a nation before Me. Micah 7:19-20, Isaiah 14:1-2

Jeremiah 31:39-40 The days are coming when Jerusalem will be rebuilt in My honour. It will be holy to Me, never again to be demolished. Micah 7:11, Jeremiah 30:18 Ref: REB verses abridged.

This passage from the book of the prophet Jeremiah, tells the story of how the Lord will punish the unrighteous by a fire judgement, then how His people, Israelites from every nation and language, Galatians 3:26-28, will once again live in the Land that He promised to their ancestors.
The Lord will make a new covenant with them, in order for His people to fulfil their destiny to be “a light to the nations”, and to spread to gospel of the coming Kingdom of God. This will be carried out by the 144,000 as described in Revelation. The precursor to this is in Luke 10:1-20; the 72 sent out then, will become 72 + 72 x 1000= 144,000. Isaiah 46:6, Isaiah 66:19

They will live in peace and security for several years, in the new country of Beulah, all of the holy Land area promised to Abraham so long ago. Ezekiel 34:24-31, Joel 2:23-27
When they are settled and prosperous, the Lord will motivate a Northern confederation to come and attack Beulah, Ezekiel 38:8, Ezekiel 39:1-2. They will be totally wiped out by the Lord, Ezekiel 38:21-22, Ezekiel 39:3-5, Joel 2:20. This is in order to display His glory and power to all the nations. Ezekiel 38:23, Ezekiel 39:21

Meanwhile, the rest of the world will slowly recover from the terrible fires and earthquakes of the Day of the Lord’s wrath and they will form a One World Government, initially controlled by ten Presidents, but another man will rise to take dictatorial powers. He makes a seven year peace treaty with Beulah, that not all the Beulahites agree with. Daniel 9:27, Daniel 11:32 This marks the commencement of the final seven years of this age. At the middle of this time, the World Dictator comes to Jerusalem and forcibly places his image in the Temple. Daniel 11:31 This triggers the 3½ year Great Tribulation, the Trumpet and Bowl judgements. Those Beulahites who refused any dealings with the ‘beast’ - Revelation 13:1-5, are taken to a place of safety. Revelation 12:14 After that, will come the culmination of this age – the Return of Jesus, He will destroy the armies mustered for battle in Armageddon. Revelation 16:16, Revelation 19:19-21, Zechariah 14:3-5 Then, to reign on earth for 1000 years. Zechariah 14:6-11
Great will be that time!

2 Timothy 3:1-17 Remember, the final age of this world is to be a time of turmoil! People will love nothing but self and money, they will be boastful, arrogant and abusive. Disobedient to parents, devoid of gratitude, piety and natural affection. They will be uncontrolled in their violence, hating all goodness, perfidious, foolhardy and self important. They will love their pleasures more than their God. While preserving the outward form of religion, actually, they deny its power. Have nothing to do with them.

Persecution will indeed come to everyone who wants to lead a godly life as a follower of Christ Jesus, while evil doers and imposters will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. But for your part, stand by the truths you have learned and are assured of, because you are familiar with the Holy scriptures which have the power to make you wise and lead you into salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
All inspired scripture has its use for teaching the truth, refuting error and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be capable and equipped for good works of every kind.

2 Timothy 4:1-5 Before God and before Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, I charge you solemnly by His coming appearing and Millennial reign – to proclaim the gospel, press it home, in season and out of season, use argument, reproof and encouragement with all the patience that teaching requires.
For the time will come when people will not stand sound teaching, but each will follow his own ideas and will gather crowds to hear whatever they fancy. They will stop their ears to the truth and turn aside to myths.
But, you must keep your head whatever happens; put up with hardship, work to spread the gospel and discharge all the duties of your calling.

1 Timothy 1:3-11 I asked you, Timothy, to instruct certain people to refrain from teaching erroneous doctrines and devoting themselves to interminable myths and fruitless genealogies, which give rise to mere speculations that do nothing to further God’s plan for humans, that works through faith in Him. The goal of this Command is love, which comes from a pure heart, a good conscience and a genuine faith. Through a lack of these attributes, some have gone astray into a plethora of theories and false notions. They set out to be teachers of the Law, but they do not know what they are talking about or the true meaning of the Word.

We all know the Law is a good thing, if it is used properly, it’s there not just for the righteous, but is necessary for the lawless and sinful, the godless and worldly, the murderers and fornicators, perverts, liars, perjurers, in fact all whose behaviour flouts the glorious Gospel of God.

The end of this era, will be a time of turmoil’, Paul may be referring to the Tribulation period, but we have for the last 100 years experienced many wars and disasters. Matthew 24:6-8

Persecution will come to everyone who follows Jesus’, This totally refutes any ‘pre-wrath rapture’. 1 Peter 4:12 However, righteous Israel will be taken to a place of safety during the Great Tribulation. Revelation 12:14

While preserving the outward form of religion, they deny its power’. Many, so called Christian Churches have deviated so far from the true Gospel, they are no longer a Church of God. Isaiah 58, Jude 1-25, Revelation 3:14-22

The time has come when people refuse sound teaching’, they ignore, allegorize or place Bible prophecy into past history, so have no proper understanding of what will happen soon. Isaiah 29:13-14, Isaiah 30:8-11

False teachers are more prevalent than ever, promoting their erroneous doctrines.’ Ministries, TV shows, books, etc, on the end times are a big business. Their judgement comes, false teachers will all meet their end on the Day of wrath. James 3:1, Jeremiah 14:13-16, Isaiah 56:9-12

And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

The Ten Commandments and the New Covenant:
Exodus 20:3-17:
1/ You shall have no other gods before Me.
It is written: You shall worship the Lord your God and Him only you shall serve. Luke 4:8, Matthew 4:10, Rev. 14:7

2/ You must not make for yourself a carved image, a likeness of anything in heaven, on earth, or under the sea.
God is Spirit and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. John 4:24, Acts 15:20, 1 Cor. 6:9, Ephesians 5:5, 1 Peter 4:3, 1 John 5:21, Rev. 2:14

3/ You shall not take the Name of the Lord your God in vain.
I say to you: do not swear at all…let your yes be yes and your no be no, for whatever is more than these is from the evil one. Matthew 5:34-37, 1 Tim. 6:1, James 2:7

4/ Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
The Sabbath [seventh day] was made for man, not man for the Sabbath, so the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath. Mark 2:27-28, For Christians that seventh day is Sunday, as the first day of our week is Monday. Acts 20:7, 1 Cor. 16:2

5/ Honour your father and mother.
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Ephesians 6:1, Col 3:20

6/ You shall not murder.
I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:44-45, Matt. 5:21-26, Romans 13:9, 1 Tim. 1:9, 1 John 3:15

7/ You shall not commit adultery.
I say to you whoever even looks at another in lust has already committed adultery in their heart. Matthew 5:28, 1 Cor. 5:11, 1 Cor. 6:18, Galatians 5:19, Hebrews 13:4

8/ You shall not steal.
Neither thieves, the greedy, or drunkards and robbers will inherit the Kingdom. 1 Cor. 6:10, Romans 2:21, Mark 7:21, Ephesians 4:28

9/ You shall not bear false witness.
For by your words, you will be justified and by your words you will be condemned. Matthew 15:19, Ephesians 4:25, Col. 3:9
10/ You shall not covet your neighbours possessions.
Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist of the things he possesses. Luke 12:15, Romans 7:7, Ephesians 5:3, 1 Tim. 6:10, Hebrews 13:5

Further New Testament scriptures:

John 1:17 The Law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
Luke 16:16a The Law and the prophets were until John the Baptizer, now the good news of the Kingdom is preached...
Matthew 5:17 I have come not to abolish the Law, but to complete it.
Romans 6:15 Can we sin then because we are not under the Law? God forbid!
Galatians 5:14 The whole Law is fulfilled in this: You shall love your neighbour as yourself.

Are the Ten Commandments still in effect? In principal they still are, now incorporated into the New Covenant, for which Jesus is the mediator. Those Ten Commandments are restated and expanded under the New Covenant, we must obey them and do God’s will for us today. Matthew 5:20, 1 Peter 2:16

Dog gone Keras. For once I highly agree with you. Especially on Matthew 5:20.

Thank you.
Now why is it that you don't agree with the rest of the Bible scriptures I present?

If you meant the first 3 posts on this thread, I didn't thoroughly read those posts as they didn't catch my attention as the post you wrote about the 10 commandments. I was just glad to see someone else understand that we're suppose to continue in them as I see many Christians on CF doesn't believe we need to keep them as some are even leading others astray like this thread below.

http://www.christianforums.com/threads/the-10-commandments-are-done-away.7936542/

I don't know if these people realize Paul was arguing against keeping Jewish laws, not God's law.

Matthew 5:18-19 New Living Translation (NLT)
18 I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not even the smallest detail of God’s law will disappear until its purpose is achieved. 19 So if you ignore the least commandment and teach others to do the same, you will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But anyone who obeys God’s laws and teaches them will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Well, least I know you won't be one of the least someday.

Those who know what is right because they know, understand and obey God's commandments.

Not like the rebels in the time of judges... who "did what seemed right in their own eyes." - Judges 17:6

Proverbs 14:12 - "There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death."

Indeed ...

For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off. It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it

Not like the rebels in the time of judges... who "did what seemed right in their own eyes." - Judges 17:6

Proverbs 14:12 - "There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death."

.
When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal

It is natural and quite right that Christians should engage in debate over what the Bible says about the last days and the Return of Jesus. After all, the Bible has a lot to tell us about these issues. Regardless of one’s worldview or faith, the Bible is an ancient and vitally important book that has shaped the course of history and will continue to in the future.
But how can it be that there are so many differing opinions as to what will take place? We do, [mostly] all agree on the most essential point – that is, Jesus will physically Return to earth. It is in the timing of His Return and who exactly is the nation, the people that He Returns to, that there is disagreement.

Jesus said; Do not assume that I have come to bring peace on the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. Matthew 10:34-36
Luke 12:49 I am come to set fire to the earth and how I wish it were already kindled.
Jesus makes statements that contradict today’s picture of Him as a gentle pacifist and seems to differ from what the angels announced at His birth, but it isn’t; they told of the beginning of this age of enmity between God and humanity and the eventual final reconciliation. Matthew 3:12, Psalms 110:5-6
Until that happens, we are still in that age of enmity and God must impose consequences on both our good and evil choices. We have free will, mostly so that we can freely love Him, because only freely chosen love is true love. Thus, if God only rewarded the good but left the evil unpunished, He would act arbitrarily, against His just nature and our free choices would be meaningless.

From Isaiah 63:1-6...I resolved on a Day of vengeance.... we have a graphic description of the Lord carrying out His just retribution against His enemies. The reason for their destruction is foretold in Romans 9:22-23. Many other passages describe this soon to happen, terrible Day of the Lords wrath. This cannot be at the same time as the Return of Jesus, as the Day of the Lord is a worldwide event, whereas at His Return, Jesus disposes of the Beast, the False Prophet and the armies attacking Jerusalem.
The fact that the Lord’s garments become blood stained during His Day of vengeance, then - at His Return, it states that He “is robed in a garment dyed in blood”, this proves that the Day of the Lord is some time before His Return.

Isaiah 66:15-16 See; the Lord is coming in fire, His chariots like a whirlwind, bringing retribution in His furious anger. The Lord will judge with fire – by His sword He will test all mankind. Many will be slain by Him.
Many people today, combine prophecies like Isaiah 63 & 66, the wrath of the Lord, with the Return of Jesus. To do this requires that you allegorize either these verses or the accurate descriptions of His Return in Revelation 19, Zechariah 14:3-5 and Matthew 24:30

Psalm 50:1-6 The Lord God has spoken and summoned the world. He shines from Zion, in His glory. He will not remain silent, a consuming fire goes before Him and storms rage around Him. The heavens and the earth look on at the judging of His people. Gather to Me, My loyal servants, those, who by sacrifice have made a covenant with Me. The heavens will proclaim His justice, for God Himself is judge. Ezekiel 34:11-16

The Lord’s loyal servants are gathered into Zion, all the Promised Land. Ezekiel 20:34-38 Then, it isn’t until later, when the Great Tribulation is over, that Jesus Returns, destroys His attackers, gathers all His loyal people, that have stood firm in their faith during the times of testing and then reigns for 1000 years.

Therefore, the next event on the prophetic calendar is the Lords Day of vengeance and wrath.
