Dole, Clinton on 60 Minutes

Intersting. I watch '60 minutes' every week so I will be watching.

If I understand correctly, they will only have 45 seconds apiece, right? *shrug* I suppose I'll watch since I normally try to catch 60 Minutes, but 45 seconds isn't sufficient to make a point about much of anything, and I deplore the way political discourse in this country has degenerated into soundbites for the witless. I don't see this proposed segment as doing anything to remedy that.

I respect them both greatly but I usually have better things to do than watch news magazine shows. I like Dan Rather because he's a little nutty and you never know what he will do. His metaphors on election night coverage are hilarious at times.
